From what you said you are currently running on Official firmware from Sony, meaning your PSP is not hacked and cant play hombrews,ISO's, make use of custom themes, emulators etc.

First you have to downgrade or install customfirmware aka Hack your PSP. Anyway am waiting for you to come online.

Google how to downgrade psp tutorials pick one and follow the instructions to the letter and you dont know or not sure of what you doing PLZ do not try it on your psp. Cuzz you might end up rendering your PSP useless which would be not reversible, do at your own risk goodluck

True, Please dont try downgrading or installing CFW on your psp if you not sure of what you doing, you might end up trashing your psp. I got a psp version of 5.03 but i was able to hack it and install CFW on it, all by reading the tutorial online. try that and you will end up hacking your psp

I doubt if you have a psp Go, go into system info and paste here the information you have( i.e your Firmware version), thats will go a long way in determing if it is hackable for now.

Until Then, Enjoy Your Psp!
