Man Utd(1) Vs Liverpool(4) On Saturday 14th March
« on: March 13, 2009, 11:35 AM »

Having  defeated and knocked out Mourinho's Inter-milan in the Champion's league, though their display against an unimpressive Inter side was unconvincing to say the least. Manchester has a big opportunity to defeat Liverpool, one of their rivals in the title race and extend their league from 7 to 10 points at the top of the table plus their match in hand Tongue.

United are on an impressive form winning 12 straight league matches at Old trafford and winning 15 out of 16 matches in all competitions. All their players are in form. even though they will be without  Wes Brown (ankle/foot), Gary Neville (calf/shin), Owen Hargreaves (knee) and Rafael (ankle/foot) for this match.

Liverpool looked good on Tuesday after defeating Real Madrid 4 goals to nothing in the Champions league,They presently lie third on the table and only a win could give them hope in the title race. They won their last 2 premier league matches after being defeated by Boro Grin Their  away game record is very poor , for they have only won two of their last six away games. The incredible duo of Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard should strike fear in the hearts of even the most formidable opposition, Manchester United included. They will be available for this interesting encounter Grin

Liverpool won man earlier in the season and Man has won liverpool  four times in a row at Old trafford.

With rafa always on the neck of his rivals  this is a very interesting match to watch Grin

Manchester United v. Liverpool (Old Trafford, March 14th, 8:40 a.m. ET, Setanta Sports)

When you looked at this match, say a month-and-a-half ago, it was way more intriguing. Liverpool were right up there with United and were a serious threat to take the title to Anfield. Following United’s unprecedented form and the numerous slip ups by the Reds, Liverpool is nothing more than a moderate threat.

With a win in this clash, however, things could change. But as I have eluded to previously, it may be a lot to ask, not because Liverpool don’t have the talent or the big-game ability, it’s just that Manchester United are simply too good.

At Old Trafford, United are undefeated, having won 12 matches and drawn one. 25 of their plus-36 goal differential is owed to the Theater of Dreams. I won’t say it’s impossible, because nothing is impossible. People actually read what I write, for example. Tell me that three years ago, I’d have laughed in your face.

Can they win? Sure, but they’ll have to play an almost flawless game. Will it realistically happen? I don’t think so.

TFE Prediction: I like ManU in this one. They are doing all the right things at the moment and the depth of their squad is stunning. 2-1 to the Red Devils.

If manutd first scores liverpool then manutd would definitely win by 2,3,or possibly 4 goals but if liverpool suddenly scores first,it would make it an intresting encounter cos manutd would unleash  an unending attack. But i believe tommorow's game would depend on what tactice both coach decide to use but i believe it would end 2-0 in favour of manutd (rooney, ronaldo)

This is one game I really don't wanna watch but then, I'll keep wondering what I'm missing out on.
It's gonna be tough defeating Man. U (they've been on fire so far but we r gonna put it out) but O YES WE CAN.

The rest of premiership are hoping that manutd doesnt win liverpool but whose fault is it that other teams dont work as hard as manutd and other coaches arent as tactical as Alex Ferguson. Consistency is key to winning the premiership, thats why liverpool cant win the EPL. Losing tommorow doesnt dent our title hopes cos we have a game in hand but surely winning tommorow means we have succesfully defended our title (quote me)

Kini big deal?weda we win livapol or not,i dont see any threat to the prem title.afterall,by this time last year,we had already lost 3 matches,2 in december and february.
Winning this match will only give rafa 3pts,no more,no less.
The title is already ours in the waiting and there's nothing anybody can do about it.ask LPS,AW and JM!

Liverpool will be disgraced 4-1 at OT. United will win all its remaining games this season to set a new points record. Mark my words. Arsenal will be beaten 5-1 at OT even if eckersley, welbeck and Gibson starts.

Wow confidence sure is at it's peak at old Trafford these days.
100% sure of victory even before the start of the game, you're sounding like Barca fans were 4 months ago.

Man utd is just not giving anyone the chance to play. This month's mag has a pull out poster of the 1999 treble winning goal, that's the spirit in the red devils now. We can beat anyone because we believe we can and we play like we can. Utd for lyf. I'm predicting man utd 2-0 liverless/liverfool. For your Official Utd Magazine, call 08032956339. Now selling!
