what has respect got to do with the death of two communities under obj. can u count the numbers of unresolved\political killings under obj. why will u respect a fool who directed the april polls movies via iwu.
what can obj teach others. maybe in the same manner in which iwu ask americans to learn from nigeria's electorial system.
may the problems of all the families who lost their family members under obj be yours.
for supporting the evils of such man and overlooking the sufferings of nigerians who believed much in him, you deserve more than what i have said above.

Olusegun Obasanjo is far better than this lame duck president musa yar'adua.

Obasanjo stole the money that could have been used to provide Nigeria with electricity, and that theft left Nigerian industry clinically dead, and its crime rate soaring . He is a villain who deserves HARD TIME in jail, and not " respect ".

Obasanjo did NOTHING to earn respect from anyone beyond his immediate family and his bank managers .  He merely managed to survive for a few decades in the snake pit of Nigeian politics, while stealing enough money to pay off the country's entire foreign debt, which remains and shall remain unpaid for as long as criminals like Obasanjo are glorified by those who choose to measure human decency in years spent alive, rather than in tangible benefits contributed to society.

You may criticize him but not disrespect him especially by pelting him with eggs. That is against our cultural ethics and nobody including you will want his father treated that way.

First of all you don't have any concrete proof of that, secondly, you don't break a law because someone you look up to  so much broke the same law.

ireport, there is something terrible wrong with your logic and values, a SON accuses a FATHER publicly (in court) that his father is sleeping with his wife, and you some distance away (both physically and relationship wise), says you need more proof, even though the allegation was not denied by the father or the wife. In more morally sane countries such a person would not be able to show his face in public
