With what I have read on this thread, not that I am surprised,
if Baba was to walk the street of Nigeria without security men,
I am beginning to think people here might even do more than the people in London

Hey, decent language please

If you don't appreciate Obasanjo, it doesn't mean others do not appreciate him. Respect people's choices

Nnamdi Azikwe was a president, albeit ceremonial.  Aguyi Ironsi was a millitary administrator.

And then? what did they achieve with their leadership?. Did both men you mentioned above take the govt from Northerners?. Igbos were ruling Nigeria before the Biafran war so both of them didn't really do anything like Obasanjo. Obasanjo went into the lions den and took leadersip away from the north twice and that's whats up. Obasanjo fought corruption and changed the way business is run in Abuja and that's what you guys should focus on and not what he did with his di.ck.

What are you talking about there, we don't need no genealogy records like oyimbo people. Word of mouth is what we have in Nigeria, didn't your parents tell you stories about olden days

Well it seems a good time was had by all, and Don Obasanjo was very loudly reviled for daring to rear his ugly head in London.   That man's presidential career of grand larceny committed against the Nigerian treasury, which emptied it cleanly of BILLIONS in hard currency, must neither be forgiven nor forgotten, so that ONE DAY, a legal retrieval process can  be aimed at the overflowing bank account of Obasanjo, his elephantine kleptomaniac daughter and numerous other squalid collaborators in crime too many to mention.

Abeg, are you really a Nigerian or from Niger republic??? which corruption did he fight? He was just witch hunting political opponents.
see watch is happening to Ribadu and El rufai now.
Oby sold many govt houses and land to his cronies and you have to impetus to say he fought corruption?
Bribery and corruption became ripe in his tenure. Nepa became worse. Security deteriorated. Riots escalated. two communities were wiped out.
But like every other ex Nigerian leader, Nigeria only remembers their Faults and not their successes and the reason is very simple:
THEIR FAULTS ALWAYS OUT WEIGH THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS Grin

it was just that the water did not boil fast, they wanted to serve him with custard too. At least that would have made a full meal course.

For those seeking commendation, that is enough one for somebody who allowed wanton destruction and arson in my state of Anambra in the name of politics.

Remember, it was thesame mammoth that allegedly commanded the killing of about 300 Biafrans inside a church during the civil war.

Londoners, please do it under the camera next time.

i'm tired of people saying that nigerians living abroad should come back and fix this country; let us face facts, there are
elements in this country who will frustrate (or at least try their best to do so) anyone who tries to move this country forward
i've heard stories of people who wanted to repair a road and were contacted by the youths/LG/area boys ( i don't know which exactly)
that they had to settle them first (as if these people won't benefit from the roads being fixed). Truth is there are people in high places benefiting
from the fact that things are not working in this country
