OK, We've all read about it, heard about it and perhaps even experienced it.
We need a good definition of the word. There are a lot of people here with a lot of different backgrounds, who even speak a lot of different languages, so this should be interesting.
The question is: What is "LOVE?"
Now, I'm not looking for examples of love, we all can do that. I'm not looking for what love feels like, that's different things to different people. I'm not looking for what love isn't.
For example, we could all define the moon. Or, water. And, those definitions would be mostly the same for all of us.
So, how should we define "LOVE?"

First of all, please let me say that I'm not trying to make anybody uncomfortable and I don't want anybody to feel that I'm not taking their answers seriously. ALL of your input is very much appreciated, and I certainly thank you all for it. I just would like to get a working, empirical definition of the word "love."
OK, let's consider what has been posted:
kokoletz says love is a beautiful and exciting thing. But, kokoletz, a sports car can be a beautiful and exciting thing. WHAT exactly is this thing we call "love"?
kokoletz also says that it's inside of you. OK, so you're telling us WHERE it is, but you're not telling us WHAT it is.
Let's keep this going, I'd like to know what you ALL have to say about this!

My definition of Love is: the aching feeling in your heart, the never ending thinking of someone you dream of each hour, minutes and seconds, the unrest heartbeat of knowing that someone is out there that you care for and finally the anticipation that you and someone might be one. Yes it DOES exist, just cherish it when it comes your way,
