yes thats always the scariest part coz then it is do or die i understand, my wiffy wont undergoe such. i heard kids born thru operation arent much smart. but they still have to undergoe intensive care. sometimes u see the baby coming out with the wrong part maybe the legs first, such cases are very bad, thanx for the modern era where u get the facilities to treat any disorderliness and also provide sedatives for the woman on labor so the pains might not be much felt

Once you do C-Sec, you do it for the rest of your babies also. So no C-sec ppl

who fed you with such pathetic lies? Once you do C-Sec, you do it for the rest of your babies also.
So no C-sec ppl nah, due surgical technique today, vaginal birth after C-section (VBAC) is possible in many cases. In fact, 60 percent to 80 percent of women who try VBAC have a successful though it is not right for everyone but it is very much possible

Once you do C-Sec, you do it for the rest of your babies also. So no C-sec ppl Not always true you can have a c/section and go on to have a normal delivery. I think it depends on the reason for the first c-section My first was an emergency C-Section after they found my babies cord wound tightly round his neck after 4 hours of labour. I had an epidural for this one and you are right the needles look like spears our fore fathers used to hunt with! I was trying to be the martyr during this birth and wanted to feel some pain so I lied to the anaesthest, so everytime he asked me if I wanted a top up I would say no & I was just fine. Anyway this went on until they discovered my baby was in distress and had to operate immediately. Too bad for me as because I wasn't pain free enough they couldn't wait to top up the epidural so they rushed me straight into theatre and gave me a general anaesthetic to knock me out completely. . . . Serves me right. If I hadn't been messing about, I could have had my baby whilst wide awake. My second was a normal delivery which was so quick we nearly didn't make it to hospital in time. The poor ambulance men had to stop twice on the way to hospital thinking I would have her in the ambulance. Labour was only 3 hours from the first niggly feeling to birth. She was born with no pain relief at all - no time for all of that

It depends on ones ability to stand pain. Personally, i can endure pain. It wasn't that painful. Again, i think local anesthesia would help.

the first time i was glad to be a man, was when I saw the pain women go thru during child birth-I was 9 at the time. Since then I've always respected (and pitied) the women folk. But I hear that the joy of seeing the child take all the pain away, THAT'S THE STRENGHT OF A WOMAN!
But do u ladies have what it takes to be the first NAIRALAND IDOL? FIND OUT @ http://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-256239.0.html

It's better undergone than have someone describe whether or not it is a painful process. Then and only then can you grasp the true meaning of pain and joy just about the same time. Go on and have your SIX beautiful children!!!
