Brigadeiro

Ingredients :
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon margarine
3 tablespoon cocoa powder

How to Prepare :

COOK: Over medium-low heat, stir vigorously the sweetened condensed milk, margarine and cocoa powder.
Cook the mixture until it thickens enough to show the pan bottom during stirring. Pour the mixture in a greased dish and let it cool to room temperature. Take small amounts of the mixture with a teaspoon and make 1 ½ inch balls. Roll the balls over chocolate sprinkles to decorate.

Hint: Grease your hands with margarine to make the balls easily.

If the balls don't hold the shape and flat down like coins, it means that you did not cook enough. Cook additional five minutes, take a small sample and dip it in a glass with cold water. If you cooked enough, this sample should hold the shape after cooling down in the water.

SERVE:

Place the balls in candy cups to serve.

They are great for birthday parties.

Papaya Cream

Ingredients :
1 ripe papaya
1 scoop vanilla ice cream
1 tbs Crème de Cassis liqueur

How to Prepare :
Peel papaya and remove seeds. Cut in small pieces. Put in blender
with ice-cream. Blend well until smooth. Pour Creme de Cassis and mix with a spoon and serve.

This dessert is light, sophisticated, simple to make and delicious

Hint:

Blend long enough until you don't see any chunks of papaya, but be careful not to "over blend" otherwise the ice cream will melt too much and it'll look like a soup) - it should look like a smooth cream. Serve it right away, with liquor de cassis.

Increase the ingredients for more servings.
There are two main brands of Crème de Cassis: Bols or Chambord. Both are from France where the liqueur is made.
Creme de Cassis is a liqueur made from black currents, which grow in the vicinity of Dijon, the capital of Burgundy in France.

You should find this liqueur in your nearby store. Or you can replace with coffee liqueur that is easier to find.

Gee--I wasn't expecting that, but, uh, thank you for that, shall we say, detailed and descriptive translation, omoge.

I know I'm going to regret asking it, but what language is "nsi mmili mmili"?

(You know, if ever there was a time I somewhat regret going "off topic," this would probably be it!)

Re: Nigerian Recipes

like that what ?
I said I feel like vomit when someone cook or eat tongue, meat, head, liver, foot
There are people around the world that love it
It is not nigeria exclusivity preferences for cook
The only think that I said that for MEEEEEEEEEEE is not "normal" is to mix differents kind of meat. The taste mix and you lost the flavor about each meat, fish is good with xxx season meat fits more with xxxx season and chicken with xxx season, the way os prepare and time to cook is diferent too and you ll mix everything togheter ?
It is my taste and you don't have agree with it
So, stop misanderstading me and invent things that I didnt said .

Who start saying my food might cause diahrreia was you I just replied. If you want respect show respect. If you want play, lets play. I ll dance according with the music and I wont lay day. You have started so you should be strong to support what you don't like to hear. Just you can make fun of someones food ? (I didnt make fun of nigerian food as you did I just said my opiniain about 1 specif stuff), who talk what wants hear what don't want.

Good night
