Down point of the phone is. . . .battery life. . . .and you can only use the bluetooth with another G1. . . .only has youtube player. . . but will be upgraded later on

the goods are. . . . . . . . . Great apps that can also be fond on the iphone. . . . like barcode scanner (like i till), google map, gps and superfast internet. . . . faster than an average pc in nigeria . . . .also faster than iphone. . . .

You guys know I don't know all this features you're talking abt. .  . what's draft b & g? 

That's all the good thing about it? Camera wise? Memory? downloads? etc

just about any smartphone these days is made for the internet. thats why we call them "smart' (mails, sync, mobile browsing, attachments etc). and there is no way a phone is going to be faster than its link, especially on a 3G network. what did you use for comparison? maybe your browser renders pages fast, that doesnt mean the phone hardware is faster on 3G than another phone on the same network under the same conditions.






like i said, ive never owned it, and i dont feel comfortable reviewing something ive never owned. i held the G1 only once on the train for the 40minutes ride and that was my total experience.


frankly, i dont "get" what its all about. im not a google user so all that google integration means crap to me. i do read online that a new Android version (cupcake) is set to significantly bolster the phone's usability and appeal, but until then.   .     .


might be a good idea to ask WHY you need it; what reason/feature is compelling enough to make you decide on this and forgo other (perhaps better) phones. that is, what is the opportunity cost?

if you come up with a satisfying answer then by all means hand them your money.

LOL, actually, T-Mobile batteries are very good.
My last phone from them can last me a week without recharging. . . .and trust me, I talk alot on the phone.

But seriously I loff that iPhone sha. .the only things that piss me off are the fact that the call register doesn't hold more than 2/3 days of records, and you can't also delete pictures off the iPhone directly except the ones taken with its camera, and lastly, I have to take if off standby mode each time in order to skip tracks. .ahh yes, the bluetooth sucks!

The letters aren't that difficult to use. .each letter magnifies when you press it, and there's also an auto-correction feature to help out when you mistype. .it's really cool.

For me, I love its sleek design (the fact that it has only one button is totally awesome) and its flexibily - i can add hundreds of different apps and turn the phone into virtually anything else. .

So u like the Youtube? Why did you single out that one single app?
