Which are the books you read when you were young that gives you nostalgic feelings
for me these are the one that I remember.

1. My fathers Daughter
2. Adventure of Sauza
3. Taiwo and Kehinde
4. Alawiye 1-6
5. Olowolayemo
6. Sugar girl

So many more,  (the most hilarious is one where the king decreed that everyone in the village must bow and worship him every time he sneezes and a bell is rung, and this other english book with the house maid character named 'Polycarp')

This was one of my favorite books growing up in Liberia. The Nancy Drew series was read my many kids and we loved it

I was quite a voracious reader. I didn't read a lot of foreign books though, (so I didn't know of the Nancy Drew mentioned here, only knew of the one shown on Teevee).

An African night's entertainment.
The drummer boy.
The passport of Mallam illia.
Sugar girl.
The Village headmaster.
Tales from an African Village.
Stories my mother told me.
The African child.

The bottled Leopard.

Echoes of hard times.

the lion and the jewel (alhough i can remeber that i did not understand i thing, i still read it)

the beautiful ones are not yet born (first two chapters only. it was too boring and i couldnt make myself continue reading it)
