Please keep up with posting these pictures. This is surely a good idea. Let the world identify with our corrupt leaders, and know that Nigerians are leery of their own leaders. Let their future generation know that their progenitors are thieves and pen rogues.

I will be back to mine as well.

Those pictures ought to be published in Nigerian newspapers so that armed robbery gangs can be aware of who the looters are, so as to accord them the VIP treatment they deserve, should they ever fall into an ambush, or if their residential addresses can be uncovered.
Re: Faces Of Corrupt Political Leaders! by Kobojunkie: 4:23am On Apr 09, 2009
What armed robbers? Every adult, armed robber in Nigeria or of Nigerian descent knows of these people and more. We are speaking of armed robbers who would rather prey on the weak and defenseless than on those who steal directly from them and their own families. I bet you if one of those Nigerian armed robbers where to stumble on this list, (s) he would go after you and others who have posted on this thread rather than those on your so-called list.

You have a point there Kj. Bandits prefer soft targets. All those big boys and girls can afford to purchase small private armies to keep the disgruntled elements at bay while the stolen wealth is being flaunted in front of the rabble.

Are you sure it is the same Bola Tinubu? Man!!! Whatever happened with the case?
Re: Faces Of Corrupt Political Leaders! by Kobojunkie: 9:14am On Apr 09, 2009
Copy of the proceedings and order of the court is attached as Annexure 1

(ii) The facts of the case can be briefly summarized as follows:

(a) The affidavit of Agent Kevin Moss to the Court discloses that One "Agbele and Akande controlled the operation of the white heroin distribution network from Nigeria and the United States. Much of the business at the time the operation flourished, was conducted by telephone, although according to Agbele, Akande tarvelled to the United States under an assumed name to retrieve portions of the profits".

(b) According to the same affidavit," this investigation has disclosed the identity of other individuals, including relatives, who have worked for Akande with various duties in the distribution organisation. One of those individuals has been identified by the investigation as Bola Tinubu".

(c) Proceeds of the illicit drug trafficking were laundered by Senator Bola Tinubu since according to the same affidavit ", Bola Tinubu came to First Heritage Bank in December 1989 to open the accounts, he was introduced to ( the Bank) by Adegboyega Mueez Akande.

Our Client affirms that Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu continues to operate that account in his name and through close relations up to date. In fact, there is evidence that large amounts of money in US Dollar denominations continue to be transacted by way of deposits up to date.

The conclusive evidence available by the same affidavit is to the effect that the transaction on the account proves that the sources of money deposited by Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu emanates from illegitimate sources as Agent Moss deposes as follows:

"Further, Tinubu stated in the application that his employer was Mobil Oil Nigeria Limited; Fairfax, Virginia and that his take home pay was $2,400 per month. Additionally Tinubu stated that he has no other sources of income".

(e)Additionally, "records from First Heritage Bank disclose that in 1990, Bola Tinubu deposited $661,000 into his individual money market account and in 1991, Tinubu deposited $1,216,500 into the same money market account". The balance in the account as at 20th day of July 1993 according to special agent Kevin Moss was "approximately $980,967".

It is a matter of public knowledge that Bola Tinubu referred to in the affidavit was at that material time a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and therefore subject to the corresponding provisions at the material time in terms of Item 3 Part 1, FIFTH SCHEDULE 1999 CONSTITUTION being the constitutionally prescribed Code of Conduct for Public Officers. It provides as follows:

'The president, Vice President, Governor, Deputy- Governor, Ministers of the Government of the Federation and Commissioners of the government of the State, members of National Assembly and Houses of Assembly and such other Public Officers or persons as the National assembly may by law prescribe shall not maintain or operate a bank account in any coutry outside Nigeria".

(f)The foregoing facts, including the fact that the monies owned by Bola Tnubu from this illicit drug trafficking transactions and money laundering activities is underscored by the sworn deposition of Agent Moss where he stated

"On January 10, 1992 applications for seizure warrants were presented to Magistrate Judge Rosemond of the Nothern District of Illinois. After considering the applications and the attached affidavits, Magistrate Judge Rosemond issue seizure warrants for accounts at First Heritage Bank and Citibank in the name of Bola Tinubu. The amount of money seized from these accounts exceeded $1.4 Million Dollars".

(g)Furthermore, four days after the seizure of monies belonging to Bola Tinubu as set forth above, Agent Moss deposed that:

"On January 14 1992, 1 had another telephone conversation with the same individual who identified himself as Bola Tinubu. During the telephone conversation, Tinubu, admittid to me that he knew Agbele and that he met Agbele through Akande. He further admitted that he (Tinubu) had associated with Akande and Agbele in the United States as well as Nigeria. Again during this conversation, he denied the existence of any other bank accounts in the United States".

Confirms that Tinubu, Agbele and Akande on the admission of Tinubu are associates in the narcotics trafficking and criminal money laudering business.

-Tinubu lied when 'he denied the existence of any other bank accounts in the United States".

(h)We particularly invite the attention of the authorities to the composite effect of depositions in Paragraph 45 and 46 of Agent Kevin Moss' affidavit as follows:

Paragraph 45:

"The bank records from these accounts in the international division disclosed that when Bola Tinubu opened these accounts at Citibank, International, he provided certain corporate documents from Compass Finance nnd Investment Company, Ltd. including documents identified as a memorandum of association and articles of association. Both corporate documents identified Mueez Adegboyega, Akande and Abiodun Olasuyi Agbele as directors of Compass Finance Investment Con~pany, Ltd".

Paragraph 46:

"A further review of the records from Citibank, International disclosed that the funds transferred from First Heritage Bank in Illinois to Citibank, N.A. were subsequently transferred to the Citibank, International accounts held in the name of Bola Tinubu and Compass Finance and Investment Company Ltd. Funds' held in international accounts may - be casily transferred into the international 'banking system or converted into foreign currency".

(i) The deductions from the depositions are as follows:

_Bola Tinubu laundered various sums of money from First Heritage Bank through Citibank N.A and then through Citibank International, inspite of his denial of owership of other accounts.

_That Bola Tinubu's association with Akande and Agbele extends to close connection with the organisation - Compass Finance and Investment Company Limited

- Subsequeunt investigations disclose that Compass Finance and Investment Company Limited is a private limited liability company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission under the Laws of Nigeria with Registration Number 131287.

- That records of the CAC in Nigeria confirms that as at July 2002, Bola Tinubu remains a director of Compass Finance and Investment Company Limited in addition to both Agbele and Mueez Akande identified as his long standing drug and money laundering associates in the Affidavit of Agent Kevin Moss. Refer to Annecure 2 (The result of search conducted in CAC, Abuja, Nigeria).

(j) Agent Moss in his deposition at Paragraph 48 of Annexure 1 (Page 15 thereof) states as follows:

"For the reasons set forth above, there is probal~le cause to believe that the funds in the accounts, held by First Heritage Bank, Citibank, N.A. and Citibank, International, in the names of Bola Tinubu and Compass Finance and Investment Company, Ltd., represent property that was involved in transactions in violation of 18 U.S.C. $$1956 and 1957, or is property traceable to such property or represents the proceeds of drug trafficking making the fund in the accounts forfeited to the United States pursuant to 18 U.S.C. $981 and 21 U.S.C. $881".

(k)Any doubt as to the veracity of the depositions of Special Agent Kevin boss in terms of the foregoing is erased by the fact that Senator Ilc la Bola Ahmed Tinubu engaged the US Procedure of Plea bargain which resulted in the US Court confiscating, the $460,000 in the foregoing terms on September 15, 1993 by US District Judge John A. Nordberg.
