UCL: Barcelona (4) Vs Bayern Munich (0) On Wednesday 8th April
« on: April 08, 2009, 07:24 PM »

Barcelona might like to think that a Bayern Munich side smarting from a 5-1 humiliation at the weekend will pose no threat to their Champions League ambitions.
Coach Pep Guardiola, however, believes such a result is dangerous as his team prepare to meet the German champions in the first leg of their quarter-final at the Nou Camp.
Guardiola has a doubt over the fitness of midfielder Yaya Toure who is due to return after a thigh muscle tear but captain Puyol and midfielder Iniesta are fit again after injury layoffs.

Bayern coach Juergen Klinsmann has recovered Hamit Altintop from injury while striker Luca Toni played for the first time in the 5-1 defeat at VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday after more than four weeks out with a heel injury.
But the Germans, who defend an undefeated run in the Champions League this season, will be without striker Miroslav Klose, out for several more weeks after surgery, and central defender Lucio, who sustained a thigh injury on Saturday.

Promises to be tough as nails.  .  .kindly keep the thread alive with updates from the pitch, people.

that ref is authentically blind and stupid for booking messi even when the defender clearly fouled him in the box. English refs are so useless. I hope he Doesn't award 3 yellow cards in this game today.

Why why why? Just first half. A team that broke UCL record?! Think Dayokanu boys relaxed too much or are they playing their best? Liverpool and Chelsea would be so happy they didn't meet this team.

When we got 0-0 there last season, y'all guys were all over us like a rash.
Going to Camp Nou is like going to a Lion's den. . . . .I am so glad we won't be meeting em until the final.
Hopefully, Chelsea would do English clubs a big favour by taking em out in the next round.

y'all cats know we always play to win
i must say i'm dissappointed with our 2nd half performance, 4 goals is not enough representation of the difference in class  Grin Grin Grin Grin

but dayokanu is a close friend of mine.  . . . . bayern were brave and didnt come to defend with 11 men like the supposed world champions last year
anyways, the tie's not over

i know the next thing now is for peeps to start crucifying bayern's defence and how poor they are just like la liga teams
no worries, your team might be NEXT  Grin Grin Grin
