@Orikinla: You do know that in Qur'an and the Sunnah, it is Haram that one should take ones life (Suicide). I agree with your birth of Jesus, by a Virgin woman, his coming back. However, I disagree with you on the death on the cross and of course, your statement that he died for 3 days! If you are to calculate, using Semitic calendar, from Sundown to sundown asa full day, at best you have less than 2 days, from Friday evening to Sunday morning! Again, as I have stated above I am not one to believe in the Crucifixion. The essence of hanging and death on the cross amount to cursing of the soul! Jesus (AS) soul is not a cursed soul, it is a noble soul. You should do your research on crucifixion on the ancient people that are used to using this method for killing the evil people among them!
You must also realise, that Muhammad (AS), gave details and method of life and living a good life. This includes the methodology of having a preparation for life, before the life was born, then raising the life up, the life living independently, raising family by this life and then dying of, burial, etc. Such is Muhammad (AS), since in your Bible the spirit is used synonimously for prophet!
Orikinla, you are a good man. You are smart. You are unlike some of the folks who are book smart, alone, but are foul mouthed and can not hold civil discusses! People like you, I pray that you receive guidance and the light of the Almighty enters your heart. God sent Jesus (AS) for a mission. God sent others before him and sent one after him. All of them are good souls. God is the only True Saviour. However, if any lived in the time of Musa (AS), ignoring him, but followed Nuh or Ibrahiim, instead, that person is a disbeliever! In the same breath, if anyone lived in the time of Jesus(AS), but chosed to follow MUsa (AS), such a person is a disbelievr!
However, you and me are not living in the time of Isa (AS). We are living in the time that it under the prophethood of Muhammad (AS), believe it or not. Therefore, no one is in guidance except that person follows Muhammad (AS)!
Your inquiry about the marital situation of the prophet can be summarized as follows; It is partly political, since Islam does not separate politics from religion. Also, the marriages fostered alliances and family and tribal ties. It is Allah who decides all matters and yould read Suratul Ahzab (the Confederates) and his adith and seerah.
However, I will like to stop and give a disclaimer that I dislike keeping the company of those who talk badly about God, His prescibed religion for mankind, His prophets and truly believing people.
