« on: October 07, 2006, 07:18 PM »

Guys, come to the sky pavillion, Adebola House, Opebi, Lagos state venue where the test held today, then you will concluded that no future for poor man in this country. The officials of that bank that conducted the test were not organised. Majority of people seeing living the venue after we have been frustrated by these staff and man of Nigerian police. I left the palce arround 12:45 when I supposed to have done the test by 7am but the test was not conducted. A lady was fainted and collasped in the process when she was stressed beyond reasonable doubt. Was it a test or what ? People that came with just test massage were not attened to, what is the faith of those people. INTERCONTINENTAL BANK FAILED AT THIS TEST.

How or were do i start from?Today was a complete nightmare for me only that it happened in broadday light.Intercontinental bank really let me down today with their lack-lustre and un-imaginative sense of organisation. Not that i was surprised really,'because most companies in Nigeria are like that, but d thing that really got me was d de-humanising way we graduates were treated, like animals.
Thank God oh!that i wasn't crushed 2 death at d entrance gate.some ladies fainted and passed out.I saw with my two eyes a grown up woman sobbing like a baby.kai, see wetin this country don turn man into. But seriously though, this unfair treatment by companies operating in Nigeria must stop,Enough is Enough!aluta continua.God is in control brothers&sisters, don't give up on yourself 'because God has not given up on Nigeria.Long live Nigerian graduates!

What if they had died? Abeg give up on Nigeria and flood the embassies. You get higher pay washing plates and dead bodies than working in intercontinental bank unless if OBJ leaves or is impeached

Mine was an ordeal. I was squeezed and compressed at the entrance before i entered the gate. i was invited for 9.30, but after the rigourous exercise I was worn out, and to avoid embarasing my self I left around 11 to find my peace in the coolness of my house.  AN ORDEAL REALLY

I never know that the test was a hell rather than be  coolest tune for the peace at heart of the job seeker. Look at the incident at sky pavillion yesterday. Thousands of properties were lost: handset, wristwatch and many more were the items. Where are we going inthis country. Could it be that until all our leaders died we the youth we enjoy our life. Most we pray for their quick exist, most they died in the next 2mins. We are praying to see the kind of 2007 presdent we are going to produce. The sufferness is too much.

Nairalanders,
We have all used different WORDS to qualify what happened at the INTERCONTINENTAL BANK TEST yesterday, I had my own bitter experience but I have put all that behind me now and thank GOD especially for the fact that I finally wrote the test and I believe it is well.
My addition is that sometimes, these things are supposed to happen so that poeple cab learn from them. It would be a big shame and a very BIG ONE  at that if our younger ones and our children also complain about this ORGANISATIONAL PROBLEM in their own time. We are all jostling for jobs and positions now but we should not for to be RESPONSIBLE  in our places of responsibility, because if that had been ths case yesyerday I bet we would not be complaining today the way we are. POSTERITY would not forgive us if make the same the same mistake we are complianning about today.
Aluta continua, Victory is sure.

@ everyone
i was at IB centre 2 and i saw hell like yáll

for me o - i believe every situation we find ourselves says something to us and what last saturday's experience simply said to me was:

1. I SHOULD THINK OF STARTING MY OWN ORGANIZATION
2. PEOPLE WOULD COMPETE TO WRITE MY TESTS TOO IF I DO
3. HUMAN RESOURCES ARE ABUNDANT IN NAIJA MEN.

i know some people will say where's the capital? well, it's out there somewhere waiting for the right idea. all i can say is
erastus akingbola and all these other employers no get 2 heads and them no carry them companies come from heaven.

WOULD THOSE CRITICIZING INTERCONTINENTAL BANK HAVE DONE ANY BETTER UNDER SAME CONDITIONS? NO

let's face it fellas nobody owes us a job!!!
the earlier we realize that the better.

Hi everyone, I've read through all the posts here and i must say i'm really surprised at all this, My cousin also went for the test in Ph and it was a terrible story also, they were also this-organised,  there were supposed to be 3 sets for the day (11am, 2pm and 4pm sets), the 11am set didn't start theirs till 5.30 pm, and they were given just 45 mins to write it, finished by 6:15 while the others were told to go and come back the next day (today), Well i don't know if the test still held today sha, haven't heard anything bout that, but i must say that i'm very dissapointed,

I wrote their test Feb. 11 this yr in Abuja and it was VERY ORGANISED, there were no problems, we were to start by 7am but didnt start till past 8, all in all, by past 10 i was out of there, and everything went smoothly, Got the job too,

Well i wish u guys the best, just keep on praying, God can do it for you, if u just believe,
