Is A Masters Degree Really Necessary In Todays World And Why

Some see masters as a sheer waste of money, others see it as a way to specialize in their industry, others also see it as a way to get permanent residence of a foreign country. we are focusing on Information Technology here not specialized fields like engineering. many masters programs cover many topics broadly but you dont really hold your hand down to one thing. so do you think one could survive with a bachelors and take training courses or is a masters worth getting at some point and why (instead of just taking cheaper training courses in a particular technology area).

Well education is wealth and u can never get enough of it, doing your master is definitely an added advance especially if u decide to return back to Nigeria, I had a girlfriend who graduate from a university she search for jobs like a mad person but couldnt get a job, then she decided to go for her masters and work for a year abroad after her masters then she came back and started applying for jobs here in Nigeria, u needed to see the responds she got it was mad, well now she works with Chervon in lekki.
So what I see is that u follow your heart. Because it another man's meat is another man's poison.
