UNIPORT Student and Alumni Thread

i am currently a sstudent of uniport. the place i really tite now oh.
UNIQUE UNIPORT.

nice pics, thanx paulek, their medicine dept is among top 5 in naija, thats 4 sure, the place is cool.

I attended Uniport and got admited in 1988 for Geological Science program. Then we were in choba park. nice place.
graduated in 1992 and subsequently did a masters in Uniben .

I was elected president of NASA in the class. ( Non Academic Student Association). I remember a day a visiting lecturer prof okeke from Futo noticed that there were three types of student in the class. first group is ( SABINUS) they claim to know everything,they tend to seat in the front row. the second group is refered as NON ALLIED, they dont want trouble, they contribute to the class, the last group NASA dont participate at all in the class.

prof okeke posed a geological question and pointed at me to answer. i dodged it pointing at someone else and he said to me  you have to answer the question, i dodge again pointing at another student. he was so mad that he practically re-aranged the class from that day. all NASA group from now on must seat at the front row while Allied group retained their center row. sabinus taken to the back row.

I did answer it correctly.Today those lesssons my lecturers gave me now guide me here in my job.

Today i work in the States for a Defence Consultant for NASA space programme. Mars Lander and Mars Rover. Its amazing seeing these pictures streamimg from planet Mars every time i get to my office. God is great, its amazing to see what it looks over there.
My wish for Nigeria is for all to have such a programme where ethnic sentiment and geopolitical issue/ corruption will not hinder such.

i will be great full to laise with any Upie in the house.
