"Igbo "is what we the indigene's call ourselves while "Ibo "is what none Igbo's call us, kind of the central name for Igbo.

Yes !! i so much agree with Y'all that Ibo people can be greedy but !!! "not all of us"majority of us are not greedy.

I am highly disappointed with the sadistic comments which have been made on this thread about the ibos. I dont find it funny at all.
So Its ok to laugh at the ibos and put them down abi?
Hotangel and Wes, i have lost all respect for you guys after reading your ethnically motivated comments which shows the extent of ethnic bigotry that the ibos have to face on a daily basis.
I cant understand why someone should call an entire tribe greedy, there is no excuse!
As for admin (Seun), you should not allow such misuse of this medium by a disgruntled few.
Someone could as well start abusing the Yorubas or Hausas, but it is not the solution as we would only end up going nowhere.
I have a multi-tribal lineage and i take offence when people talk without restraint.
An apology should be made by those calling the entire ibo race "greedy and selfish".
It should not be tolerated!

Rilla.... I totaly respect igbo people.

We were just having fun.. and im sure if you look at those stuffs with your inner eyes, you'll see that we don't mean them. Although we all know igbo people could be funny like that. If we start a yoruba/hausa thread.. We'll get worse!

Anyways sorry if i or wesley offended you in any way.

@ Rilla, I like Hotangel also totally respect ibo people. My bestest of friends was ibo and we weren't saying this because we're bigots or anything. It's just supposed to be pure humor.  I love you guys and I never called the entire tribe greedy. it's just  a stereotype that's not always true.

Ibos don't get ethnic bigotry on any daily basis. Even if they were looked down upon, it has to do with the Biafra Issue and all that political stuff me and hota weren't talking about.
we were just saying these stuff jokingly and I apologize to you and every ibo that's mad (even though i never said they were all greedy).
We're sorry.
