Buying A USB Desktop Microphone In Lagos
« on: October 10, 2006, 11:07 PM »

Hello,

I'd like to buy a uni-directional desktop microphone with USB output like this one:
    Logitech USB Desktop Microphone

- Uni-directional: for high quality voice recording
- USB Output: digital output to eliminate noise.

Do you know any electronics outlet in Lagos that currently has this item (usb dektop mic) in stock?

Thanks.

You can check www.computerport.biz and if possible purchase it online. They accept interswitch ATM but it takes about 2 days to receive your items.

Alternatively, you can visit Palm/City Mall. PC Outlet is @ Palm's but their website is scanty, unlike that of computer port but they seem to have a larger stock of IT devices.

Finally, you may have to go round Otigba since these guys have refused to put their wares on a website, or check the pages of Wednesday guardian.

Thanks a million for the info.  I've checked all those online websites and none of them is selling a USB microphone.

A USB microphone converts the sound into a digital format before transmitting to the computer, so one doesn't need a high-end sound card to get distortion-free audio.  That's why I want it!
