Just send me your -Imei No. -FW version -your username and -e-mail address to 08066337900. .will request for a cert and in 24hrs . . a response should get to u, . Helo0X version v1.03 is responsible in this case Though, soiling the Nokia E71 on the latest FW is not easily, but somehow managed to get it DONE! |

just updated my e71 to d latest firmware and after recovering the phone from back-up i have problem recovering some applications, even though they are visible under applications manager but i cant find them under instalklations. has anybody xperienced similar issues? and if u got any nice e71 application just post HERE. have fun y'all, Eseries all the way!

. . .nd next time i dnt advise u make backup of apps nd games , . .why after FW installation the registry most time gets cleares out, nd some of the apps u av backed up looks like dummy when eva u return em to the fone,. .
For me, i only make backup of messages, notes, and contacts . .nothing more
E.g i still av my messages of 2yrs ago since d days of my 1st symbian fone Nokia N70. .

My E51 works better than the 71. Pimped to the core. Not QWERTY but ADGJMP. 90 words per minute. Need I say more ?

@sule, 1). The Nokia E71 comes with a Dictionary Installed. Navigate to MENU -> OFFICE -> Dictionary . .(That's the 11th item present there) Sorry, u meant E72,. .If its on the Symbian Platform the AOD (Advanced Oxford Dictionary <its a 7MB .jar file>) should work well, . .I wil check to see if i av dat uploaded 2). "The phone is not soiled.v.210" k, I dont know If the ha-ck method for the Nokia E71 will work for the E72, but we can give it a try. . JUst send my a text with the fflwng; -Imei No.

Prof,you dey encode the h*cking process?  .Give us an idea on how to go about the h*cking of these new E-series phones.I have got 2 buddies using E71 and they are counting on me to h*ck and install stuffs on their phones.If it is E51,E65 and other older E-series,I have the install servers for them and can h*ck them but these new E-series are uncharted territory to me. |

I no envy your device o and i know alot of guys that we got the N95 at the same time have moved over to this E71 you suggested to them but for me, i don't really think the E71 is the in-thing. I see a lot of guys using it now but aside the querty keyboard and landscape view as default, i don't see any thing that takes it above the N95.
I'll rather ditch my present phone for N96 than opting for this E series.

@9ice, i aint harbouring anything here,. .the hac-king process is only done using Hello OX v1.03. .what is there is that u just have to sign it with your own .cert nd .key b4 u install or run it.
Thats y i told guys to snd me em IMEI jst to help request for the .cert nd .key from OPDA, its a chinese site so i can really describe where to navigate, though u av to register as a member there.
So, when OPDA provides the .cert nd .key i jst go ahead and sign the UNsigned HELLO OX with it, thats all . .
I upload for u on a direct link nd provide u with the link, . .
You can as well do it your self no big deal, . .just make things easier here. Ok!

@D.N, frm your screenshot above i can deduce dat your FW is way older than mine, what happened? U neva performed any update on the device?
Urs is last Year 2008, why mine is March this year, . .though there is a more recen update compared to mine, but we need to chilling because, it is possible the Nokia security on the device mite av been beefed up, to provent hack-ing.
Thats y i halted @ my current hack-able version.
Can u do a manual FW installation? . .if NO, do contact dragnet OR Mr. Info for help.
N.B: only do a manual update to d same version of the screenshot i posted, anything further away frm dat , u r OYO!

@init, True, i won't argue the seniority of the Nokia N95 to any other mobile older or present especially my former 8GB version.
Yes, no doubt a good device like we all knw, we seen, used . .all its function. .bt the issue here is upgrade!
I love to update/upgrade frm one device to another, . .now am on the Nokia E71 by 2morow u neva can tell wat will happen, lol. .u knw i was highly considering the Nokia 5800 XM b4 i got d E71. .we gat choices.
The issue here is that we can/use/adapt/make do to 100% any device dat comes our way. .if we put it to good use, .
All most every1 loves the n-series, but do u knw y Nokia made d E71 look so sexy, its jst to attract some of the n-series market to feel the new E-series. .
Note: According to my survey, i discovered lotta Females use dis device more than we Male. .na Nokia cause am.
So, dude. .go ahead enjoy your device, but in order not to be left behind. .u can hop on the E-series train. .u always welcomed !

@felas, FYI almost all apps for the N-series works on the E71, e.g I stil av all my apps frm the Nokia N95 8GB running on dis device, . .thats easier wen your device is fully hac-ked. .or else u get series of error'

N.B: someday sooner we will have to discuss how to install Ngage games on the E-series, i done it once but had to uninstal because of MMC space restrictions.
