All are nice parts of Abuja. How come nobody has posted the other side of Abuja? I mean the sorry sights; Mpape, Yan-yan,Maraba,Lugbe,Kubwa,lifecamp etc. Am sure El-rufai would have made a haven of those places if he had another four years.

@ janedoe Hey Onenaija, can you please tell me the name of the church you have on post #17?it's quite a work of art. The name of the church is THE NATIONAL ECUMENICAL CENTER, I think

@aderoy it is not a church per sa, it is a center where christain activities are held.
it took so long for d church to be completed as against d mosque cos of d different denominations of christain, argument of which denomination would it belong to --- catholics, anglican, protestant, deeper life, several pentecostal churches ----------------

Lets be honest here, lagos is in no way finer than Abuja. It is improving on its own terms , but it can never compare with Abuja in terms of beauty.
I understand lagosians love their city, but dont decieve yourselves, lol

abuja was really cool until abacha showed up. we could ride our bikes, skateboards and roller skates without fear of being hit by lunatics; abacha had other ideas and things went down the drain

one naija A picture of lagos is not far fetched. some old high rise buildings sandwiched by big slums and dirty lagoons. A sea of human heads hopping in and out of yellow pieces of iron mongery seeking to riggle out of an unending traffic snarl. worn out bridges and tiny roads that cannot afford the luxury of flowers and pedestrian walkways. A city where town planning is on vacation hence a residential premises could play host to a barbing saloon, a supermarket, a pepper soup joint and a church. Densely populated neighbourhoods without proper drainage and waste management systems. streets that are littered with beggars, touts and area boys that make both day and nightlife in lagos a risky adventure. A city where the noise level is pegged at the highest decibel owing to the chaotic mix of juju music from the stereos of roadside traders and bus conductors ever chanting the name of bus stops in vernacular. A city where its inhabitants have come to grapple with the harsh reality of leaving home by 4am inorder to make ends meet. Indeed, the picture of lagos is that of an urban jungle. ABJ 4 LIFE.

Nailakar, this thread is not about Kenya. Please kindly post any pictures of Kenya to the thread already in existence.
Maybe instead you can comment on the pictures of Abuja here.
