Courage Da Whizkid a.k.a Knight(9th) Wonder, born Courage E.E took interest in Rap Music at a very tender age. Listening to  works of Eminem, Jay-Z and other great MC's of the late 90's and early 2000's inspired him to pick up the pen and pad. He started writing Rap songs since he was 13 and experimented on beat samples of various artistes. His freestyle on Ja Rule's New York beat brought him to the notice of some industry heavyweights in the Southside of Naija. The freestyle is currently be played on JFM 95.1 Warri and Rhythm 93.7 Benin City.
The 19yrs old,Dark-skinned,Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate of University of Benin has featured on 7released songs and over 40unreleashed songs. He is currently working on his debut album titled "Rhythmically Applied Poetry(RAP)" with producers like Frank D' Nero,Dr Frabz, X-mack and DP. His debut single title "Again" will hit Radio Stations and the Internet come September 2009.

P.S: I'll provide download link to the Freestyle and other songs.

It pays to have an action plan Careers in music, A practical guide for  Artist,  Music is such a broad field - there is the music industry and music itself. So there are lots and lots of choices for a career within music. It's not just about being a pop star - we have music lawyers, admin support staff, sound engineering. It is a valid choice to make as a career.

If you are so serious about music you may be thinking about further study or even a career in music.  is there really a future in music? Today music is a major industry with a wide range of opportunities, employing an estimated 130,000 full-time in the UK alone. talkless of our dear Nigeria You may want to study music for the love of it, or to pursue a career as a singer, instrumentalist, or composer, but the possibilities don't stop there. Whatever the level of skills you have achieved, there are career paths ,Don't stop there. Whatever your interest there are jobs in teaching or music therapy, production, promotion, management, as well as performance. Music Production and Studio Engineering, l know many  are genuinely passionate about wanting to become a record producer or a sound engineer please pursue your career.  Record Producer You may be interested in working in a studio, helping artists record their work. Music producers and engineers and the rest of the 'back-room' people make the recording possible, helping the artist get the most out of their music. Other jobs in Music Production and Engineering: -Music Producer  - sets up the electrical equipment during a recording and operates the soundboardStudio Manager - responsible for running the business side of a recording studioProgrammer - works solely with music software in a sound studioSound Designer - creates and records sound effects for film and television What does a record producer do?

But the most important thing is to get knowledge, how things can work out for the best, the mistake the failed ones made, how the succesful ones are doing it? l can be of help if you wish.

Hey! it's yo boi Rhymester <a.k.a Da Poet, Ramses IV, Lil Thrice> I've been rappin since age 9, when Pops would play hip hop songs in his car and I would flow along, interest in rap built and I rapped my way all through secondary school, was known as "50cent" back in Baptist Academy those days and now I flow sick! I won several rap battles on the streets of Oregun, Ikeja and had clout when it comes to rap in my hood then. Was called to wrk in the studios of Christ Embassy but U knw, I felt gospel wasnt for me, so I didn't follow the course. Well, puttin beats together to do 2 tracks rite now. Find me on facebook. Ayo Yayo Elugbaju.

I am a CEO of an entertainment firm based in Lagos. ABRCADABRA ENTERTAINMENT. We might be looking at getting a hot female MC or a teen star, we do not charge, we will only look at your tru skill to see if u represent what we want, our email is abracadabramusic@Gmail.com, please dont send your materials or anything to us, its again copyrite law, if we need u.we shall contact u to freestyle for us and feel u. we need 3 tHings in a artist.

1) TALENT
2) STAGE PRESENCE
3) CHARACTER - this is most important. many artist are very unstable and unrealaible, u do not have to be a radical, smoke weed or some sh****t to make u a good perfomer, but we dont have issues with that if u do as long as your not problem to society, trust us we have been in the industry some years now,

once we finish or studiio we shall look for the next big thing, we have talent in nigeria, just try be original and creative, many people that come my way shouldnt even be artist, they should go get some paid employment, we might need a full time A/R or PR Mnanger to manage the team,

We will be discussing more on the concerns and progress in the industry.

cheers folks.
