Well i am not out to insult anyone hear or offend sensibilities. but the reason why i started this thread was to spur nigerian webmasters to start listing their website here. The idea is to collect this data, irrespective of how good or bad the sites look, and put in a place where up coming website designers and developers can gather inspiration. so please if you have got a website post it here. Or better still if you can make the trip go to http://www.websitenigeria.com. The aim is to get all nigerian websites under one canopy so that there will be better visibility. Blogs are also accepted too

Segsalerty, Remoranger is building a directory. He isn't doing this for your criticism.

This isnt personal, you need to change your attitude. You tend to be negative towards everything in a bid to build your ego but that only exposes your level of insecurity and self confidence.

Lol,

I wonder why Nigerians are the only people who dont consider website managers As webmasters.
Just because they didnt develop the templates themselves. Even google, microsoft and co use pre-made templates.

What is the need to start suffering yourself designing a new template when there are more functional template already designed by better professionals.

Maybe people should start googling up the definition of a webmaster and accept what it stands for.

I really support what remoranger is doing.
We need to start respecting ourselves in Nigeria.

Now that my website is fully active, i solve lots of
disputes among members and most of it is caused
by one insulting the others.

When someone make a post, you do not need to fight
the person for saying his/her mind, if you want to convince the
person that what he/she is doing is wrong, you should
first ask why he/she did it so.

I remembered how some of my friends blasted me on facebook
when i informed them in 2008 November that i have created my
social network, i did not allow their bad comments to stop me,

i just went off Facebook for months and i came back into Facebook
to inform them that they can now advertise their products, services
and so on to members on my social network.
My social network now has more than 11,000 members.

Believe me, tens of them gave me their N1,000 and said thank
you to me.

Remoranger,  i have registered my website on your search engine.

Hope you will make it one of the biggest Nigerian Search Engine
in the world, even Google and co started just like you did.
   Cool

PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page's value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But, Google looks at more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves "important" weigh more heavily and help to make other pages "important".    ”

In other words, a PageRank results from a "ballot" among all the other pages on the World Wide Web about how important a page is. A hyperlink to a page counts as a vote of support. The PageRank of a page is defined recursively and depends on the number and PageRank metric of all pages that link to it ("incoming links"). A page that is linked to by many pages with high PageRank receives a high rank itself. If there are no links to a web page there is no support for that page.

You can now preview websites as you hover over the link
I also came up with a dumb idea of posting your twitter, facebook, linkedin, hi5 profiles,  i almost forgot NL profiles too on the social media section in the directory.
