Ptdf Scholarship into Msc. and PHD programs in the Uk is out and was advertised on todays "THIS DAY" newspaper. Page 72 & 73
Requirements are a: 2.1 B.Sc in any oil and gas related course
NYSC dicharge
i)TOEFL
ii)IETSL
iii)Credit in English during SSCE. I guess its either of the above three, as regards the English Requirement.
Application forms are out at The various ministry of Education Offices Nationwide.
and it is obtainable with a non-refundable fee of N2000 Payable by First Bank Bank Draft to the petroleum technology development fund

hey!thanks so much for the info,but i would want to know if chances are there for second class lower division graduate.because i use to know there were chances for 2.2 graduates to apply before now,or is this a new method,please anyone with relevant info should help out,don't want to waste the 2000 bucks,if i won't be shortlisted. thanks.  |

well according to the advert, it was specified that only 2.1 shoul apply.since there is an application fee of N2000, i don't think you should tale the chance since it was clearly spelt out. of course except your guts prompts you to.
these scholarship programs are usually 2.1. i remember the common wealth is also based on 2.1.

Why make a reference to a PTDF advert that was posted last year only to ask about the time the scholarship would be out this year. That would misguide everyone to think that the post was a current one. On the other hand the header could have been changed to portray the question being asked. Cheers. Love this site.

Hi people,
please even if u had 2.2 do not give up but I would rather suggest that u go to the fed. secretariat and make bold,serious enqiuries of ur chances.Sometimesthings happens the way no one expects.

As for PTDF scholarship, if you don't have 2:1 FORGET IT.. Any grade below 2:1 is automatic disqualification!!!!!!!!
