That is an absolutely brilliant breakaway goal - and USA have incredibly doubled their lead. Brazil are attacking relentlessly and they give the ball away - Landon Donovan takes possession, finds Charlie Davies and races forward, collects Davies' return pass, takes a brilliant touch to create room on the edge of the Brazil box and fire left-footed into the far corner past Julio Cesar. Phenomenal

Robinho crashes in a left-foot shot from an angle 15 yards out that Tim Howard casually flicks over the US crossbar. Brazil are dominating possession, but clear-cut chances still at a premium.

Looking at the second goal on the counter, there was no single defender. Where the heck was Lucio. He should have been the last man standing.
Ramirez ain't no defender.

HEy, where is Crizzle? She is supporting the Samba boys.

Look at the impressive way these Americans turned the entire 11 Brazilian men on the pitch around during that counter! Shocked I mean, wow!

Said it, Brazilian defense is horrible. They can recover from this if they set their mind to it though.  .  .got only 45 minutes to get it done. Dunga needs to fix that defense first, then reshuffle the attack. This one's just not working. Fabiano and Kaka are so lost, even Robinho. The Americans approaching every tackle like it's a hot rugby game ain't helping the Brazilians either, but that shouldn't stop them. In fact they should take advantage of that and get set-pieces.

The US are on a roll yet again. Good job though, I'm very impressed. Their defense is tight too.

From The Unused Substitute on 606: "I'm stunned. Genuinely stunned. That second goal, ironically, had a bit of Brazilian magic about it."
