Thanks for all your effort and time you spent with me, i'm actually the person that called you from Lagos.
I've checked the drugs at the two stores you mentioned but they don't have it anymore, i think the manufacturer as discontinue its production. I went to Bariga last week monday and was able to purchase the drug from a very old pharmacy, bought 6 packets @ N50 each, i've been using it since then and i can tell you i'm already noticing the changes like: sneezing, coughing, heart burns, heavy breathing at bus stops. Etc. I'm still using the drug, i'll go and buy the full box of the drug and use it for as long as i can, will also keep it in case the manufacturer stops producing it. Thanks so much.[color=][/color]

Betamethasone is a steroid like prednisolone, which is a common drug already used in the treatment of asthma. It can have serious side effects which may not present immediately. Some include, liver faliure, kidney faliure, hypertension to name a few. Sometimes these side effects present years later and for the unfortunate patient there may be no cure. I am a doctor and only give steroids to patients whom I am sure I can monitor in case there is any side effect, so I can quickly stop it before it is too late. Even then unless it is unavoidable never for more than a month at a time. I know it is hard living with a chronic condition like asthma, but be careful that you do not add to your problem in the ling run, seek medical advice before taking any drug. Ask either a doctor or a trained pharmacist before taking any drug. or in case you think i am just yarning google, Betnelan, side effects and read it up.

I understand your advice, i've also read about betnelan before deciding to use the drug. Having been an asthma patient for over 14 years and spent huge some of money trying different cure i think it's worth giving betnelan a try. Since i started using the drug i don't sneeze 10 consecutively anymore, i slept in an environment i'll never sleep without having an attack. The betnelan drug works magic, at least for now. What you can help me with is how to use the drug to get the best from my health and make sure i don't experience any of the side effects. Presently, i chew 3 tablets daily[color=][/color]

Sorry I was so long in replying. What you need to do is look for a physician who specialized in respiratory medicine . They are few in the country but it is worth even if you have to travel out of your base. He /she will not stop you from taking the drug ( since it controls your symptoms) but will help to monitor you in case of any side effects. Astma is a potentially life threatening condition and hould not be handled by just anyone, that is why people specialize. Look for the appropriate specialist. A respiratory physician is a doctoctor who after 6-7 years of medical school has taken time to spend at least 4 extra years studying problems like yours. Find one.

first and foremost, we must know certain things about this person. e.g Is this asthma heredictory? what are those things he is allergic to?
I was also asthmatic. I inherited it from my father, infact he died 11yrs ago of ashtma.
I have gotten to a level that I often inject myself. I have gone above inhaler, but alas, I was saved. How?
One particular year December. I think around 1993 after suffering for almost 18yrs, I prayed about it in a local church of about 200 congregation. I was desperate for healing, and lo and behold the ffg year till now, I cant remember if I ever had it once. Halleluyah!
My advice to yr best friend is to go to His maker in prayer, whether a xtian or Muslim. Ask Him to heal you and remove in totality whatsoever He has not created with you. I am a living testimony, that GOD can do anything. yours will not be difficult 4 Him to do.

athsma inproves when there is moisture in the air. that is why doctors use vaporizers to treat sever asthma attachs in the hospital and recomend humidifiers for severly asthmatic children. there is no cure for asthma
