Dear God i hope not, i am not a big fan of indian films but they have a good quality if Nollywood got involved it would all turn to crp or bollywood.

come on and many nigerians watch the bollywood films even though they dont understand a word just to see a nicer scene rather than the horrible senes in most Nigerian films.

And Many Nigerian films just make no sense whatsoever

my thoughts

Bollywood’s no. 1 spot threatened by Nigeria’s Nollywood
May 8, 2009 posted by indiatime |
Bollywood, the most prolific producer of cinema in the world, may soon be losing that crown to a place that seems to have quietly surpassed every other cinema-producing country and is now closing in on India’s heels. Unesco’s institute for Statistics has just released a global survey on the state of cinema in the world, and places Nigeria’s Nollywood ahead of Hollywood, but just a few steps behind Bollywood.

According to the survey, here are the top movie producing countries for the year 2006

1. India (1091) who knows
2. Nigeria (872)   hahahahahhahhahahahahahahahhahahahaha, bullshit.even if it were so most of them are video diaries rather than films
3. United States (456) a lot more, way more if you want to add all the b and lower quality films produced that would ba amazing by nigerian  standards.
4. Japan (417)
5. China (330)

Come on

Only if the taste and quality of films in India were to go to an all time low point
and a lot of people loose their taste for a god quality movie

Calling Bollywood shit film is a disservice to their effort, knowing that a Bollywood movie won best picture at the Oscars, now we have our DIY movies we call Nollywood,  I honestly feel that Nollywood should be more worried that the Ghanaians are extremely crap at acting but their setting put Naija to shame

Please explain what Bollywood film has ever won as Oscar?

And don't be stupid and say Slumdog Millionaire' as that is a British movie, directed by Danny Boyle and filmed in India.

So which great Indian Oscar winner are we talking about?  Grin Grin Grin Grin
