Nokia , I use to believe was more rugged, but men Sony Ericsson w810i has proofed that SONY ERICSSION is the best. I have used dat phone for above 4yers now & it has not gone to any repairer.
SE all the way!!!!!, Its sleek, its very cost effective, rugged and has better+ more features than Nokia, even interconnectivity with other devices is allowed compared with Nokia!

This is a tough one  I use both presently. The nokia network reception obviously is better than SE also its user friendliness  But check out the picture quality of the cybershot models even at night! Outstanding  Also the sound quality of most of SE model beat most of nokia's Games and applications are also right in there with the SE But i must give it to NOKIA as a phone. REasons: Wide variety of models to choose from Their smart phones are truely smart Ruggedness Affordability and lower maintenance compared to SE NOKIA EBAINO |

Nokia stands tall among other gsm phones. SE is crap just nice audio finish. Pictures use the n95 or n96. Nokia is rugged. MOST IMPORTANTLY NOKIA PHONES ARE LIKE COMPUTERS, THEY HAVE ABILITY TO INSTALL MANY APPLICATIONS. Nokia all the way . I cant wait for n97 that would be the end.

Used nokia briefly and would recommend it if you want to play football with it or go to war, or go skate-boarding or any other rugged stuff. On the other hand if you need sublime graphics, cool sounds, user friendly buttons and accessories, compact lovely designs and and, in simpler terms if you are smart and careful then go for SONY ERICSSON, I did and no regrets. Someone said samsung is better, thats just wishful thinking.

SE Phones come with some pre-installed apps. But if you know your way around the net u can get those apps. and even more for nokia and nokia phone can receive and use some file extensions that SE phones OS cant and about intelligence nokia phones are tight to the teeth. For me it either nokia or iphone SE doesn't come close.

For me, it's SE all the way. They came up with the first touch screen phone SE R380. They bring lots of innovations in the mobile industry others follow. The only credit I'd give to Nokia is the battery Life. But the reason for that cannot be far fetched. Nokia makes phone like as if they're Nolloywood. Phones with alot of applications that I bet you as the user would not use 1/2 of the applications. All the applications are scattered everywhere and secondly, they're prone to virus attack. Now tell me which SE phone user has complianed of having his phone affected by an unknown virus? Even if you leave your bluetooth for 24hrs, nothing happens. SE organizes all its' applications into nice niffy folder where you can easily have access to them. SE is also rugged as benin-ore road. Even if it falls, nothing happens. My sis N95 accidently fell on the floor and the sound stopped functioning. Thirdly, all Nokia phones have one inherent problem or the other. You won't realise it till u start using it. An example is the 1208 and 1650 and some other phones within this range that gets pregnant (blotted keypads) after a few months of usage. Do we have any SE with blotted keypads? NAH!!!!.
