The only way England can win this world cup or the next will be if points are given for media blizz over the foot injury of a little above average players;where player's girlfreinds shop and the amounts of paparazzi a sport's personality gets.
When it comes to the playing, England is just another country and home to one of the oldest leagues in the world and some great sports club too, made popular recently by players from other countries!

@ Gidig We the English invented the beautiful game! As for players from other Countries, that is the same for all advanced footballing nations such as the UK, Spain, Italy and Holland etc. League teams are truely international these days. One thing is for sure. When Nigeria makes it to the Final of the World Cup, you will then be in a position to make remarks. Until that time you should Just sit quietly sit in the corner and hang your head in shame  |

England won the worldcup in 1966 and the TV, Dailies, commentators, the whole English supporters keep going on about it. I wonder what happened between then and now? These guys are just jokers, do they think they are going to separate worldcups from Holland, Argentina and Italy? Never seen people like these o!

Everyone on this forum seems to be tipping Brazil, but do not let the beautiful play of Brazil overshadow the hunger and desire some of these other teams posses. We are all aware of what Brazil can do. complacency might be their undoing.

@ Grizzy I really admire you optimism and faith I also admire that seeing that you are not in a position to shout 'Go Nigeria' you have chosen the next best thing and choose the shout 'Go Africa' I have never supported a continent, and every four years since I can remember I have shouted with pride 'Go England' and never 'Go Europe' I hope we are all going to meet at the end of the World Cup to discuss our predictions and whether they materialized or not! |
