I told you people Brazil wasn't winning it. I didn't see one game that they played where they showed pure skill and quality. Everyone thought that just because they won in 2002 meant they were the best team in the world. To tell the truth I thing they played poorly, so they deserve to lose to France. I really hoped Germany could beat Italy, and even though it was close I think neither side played that well. They both started out offensive and it was a great game to watch, though. I hope that France can beat Italy anyway. I think Italy's gonna win though. |

yeah Brazil was the favorite, always is but the big teams always fall at some point and its not becuase of talant but becuase of their own cockiness. they felt like they had the game in the bag, but zidane and henry showed them that a good midfield can't hide mediocre denfense. so a large upset occurs and the mighty have fallen. France and Italy will be a great game their head to head standings are very close so its a toss up. i personally like Italy.

Yeh i was always for France just that i didn't like they way Domenech has been handling the team. He doesn't give them enough encouragement and drive from the touch line, the way Scolari, Klinsmann and some other coaches do. He just leaves the players to do the playing. He's not a very good tactician in my books. One's got to criticise when rhings aren;t going well, you know. And as i said, they read my thread and changed thier game hehehe  |
