It pisses me off when i see ladies wearing engagement rings, sorry rings on their engagement finger when you know "nothing is going on"
Not only does it spoil show, i also think its a violation of that finger. Everybody don dey wear engagement ring. Na Wa oh!

I once gave a lady a lift in a car some years back in Ph. Discussing about valentine with a friend in da front seat with me on that faithful day (february 13) about our to be valentine all nite gig at Bougainvillea Hotel. During the conversation I jokingly asked the lady if the husband 'to be' could allow her come over for the all-night party (seeing a supposed engagment ring on her finger, a very conspicuous one for that matter!). She replied; "Did u say husband to be?" We were surprised, and she continued: "I don't even have a guy talkless of a husband to be". When my colleague asked her about the ring, she answered: "Its not gold its GL!"  So ladies, you scare guys like us who can hardly differentiate plastic from rubber away with JL uh? |

I doubt if a girl who is not a nun or planning to be one would wear a ring to scare people away so maybe something is really happening. I also know for a fact that some guys seek exactly these ring wearing chicks so while you are discouraged others are encouraged.

I remember those days in College, i used to wear one so as to have a polite way to say no without offending my toasters including cultists and bad belle people that cudnt take no for an answer and boy did they run after me then  - I miss those days oh  I had a serious boyfriend, though we were not engaged and he was done with school then so he was not always on campus to ward of guyz, wetin man go do but form engage? Trust me my eyes were always open for greener pastures just in case ole boy mess me up sha so it was a win win for me , |
