I think the football association has improved alot since the start of 2010 world cup campaign, they have provided everything needed for the team to go forward so lets for once desist from always insulting them or criticising them. Right now, the people we should look @ are the players and their willpower and the coaching crew, the coach just pick players based on form, zeal and readiness and not by name. I still want the formation like this  vincent. apam, yobo, adeleye, taiwo. Olofinjana, Mikel, odewingie, kalu. Ike and  Nsofor. If obasi is available, then he should be used in the 2nd half in place of Nsofor, utaka for osaze and ayila for olofinjana.

By the way, didn't fifa say that nigerian born LB who plays for hamburg in germany can play for the SE now?

Yes, FIFA's new rule means he can play for Nigeria. But is he ready to play for Nigeria?

Play Mikel,Yobo,Martins and some of the 'big names' then we'll definitely loose, but play the team that played France,Ireland,Kenya, then victory is ours. As for the North Africans, they are not so fantastic-considering what they played against Mozambique 2 weeks ago.

I think he would want to play for Nigeria, Germany has better LBs to fill that space if need be.

One  need a slide rule to predict matches involving super eagles, these boys are bunch of swollen headed brats without the desired commitment. This might be our greatest undoing! If we can pick players  with the right spirit we are sure of carrying the day come 20th june. This is borne of the fact that little success come into their heads. One may be forced to ask which of our players earn more than Drogba, Essien, Eto, e'tal yet when these players are doning their country's  colour they put in their all.
However our football administrator are not less guilty of the offence am accussing the eagles of. They need to have a rethink & start doing things rightly.
Other countries are catching up with us because they are doing things that we are not doing!

Be living in the past, don't try and understand the present dynamics.

can any1 relate the two matches we played recently? i mean Nigeria V. France and Nigeria V. Kenya
here is my very candid opinion. i saw Siasia directing the boys in  the game against France while the handwriting of Amodu was all over the field of play against Kenya.
the game against France was a very technical one, skillfully, the french were better equipped but Siasia was able to get into the boys mind and direct them on a very tactical play pattern, the french stars were tactically kicked out of play, a very identical game to that of Senegal V.  France 2001 world cup.
now Amodu knows fully well that the entire Nigerians saw what played out, SIASIA
so stupidly clever, he tried so hard to make sure anything Siasia was not brought into that match, we all have our rating of that encounter,
Eagles would deliver in Tunisia if Amodu allows the young boys listen to their heart when Siasia speaks to them.
He shouldn't be scared, Siasia would not take his Job, at least not yet.

This is the match that will determine a lot of things. I hope Amodu Shuaibu has a pen in his pocket. He might need to sign a resignation letter next week if he does not deliver in Rades. The same NFF that has continued to stick with him will stab him in the back to assuage the anger of Nigerians, if he loses against the Carthage Eagles. NFF officials are very conscious of their image these days. They don't want to be stoned by Nigerians who are passionate about football.

If Samson Siasia goes on to win the u-20 World Cup in Egypt later in the year, Nigerians will continue rooting for him. If we don't beat the Tunisians in Rades, going to South Africa will become a very difficult task for us. Cheers.

apologies, i didn't remember i had to explain simple literary expression to your feeble minds,
Siasia was at one of our local stations running sport analysis during the match.
let me just break it down for both of you, my statement was a metaphor for the fact that the boys that delivered that match to us, aside a few exceptions were Siasia groomed boys and they were playing like he was right there in that pitch with them.
what technical input would you say Amodu can make in an international friendly match of that magnitude?
Siasia even made a statement during half time analysis that he was "proud of his boys"
now which part of this elementary explanation both of you still cannot comprehend?

I sometimes wonder how we rate our team.
YES tunisia was not fantastic when they played mozambique but remember that the SE were largely average too against kenya even though we won by 3 goals.

A sound coach is expected to look at his previous match and correct lapses . If amodu allow pride make him play just those new boys without yobo, taiwo and possibly mikel, then we will not even get a draw

What a stuuuuupid opinion.

First of all Siasia was commanding the show on the pitch, now it is a case of commanding it from local station.

Siasia should take credit for the France game but not for the Kenya game.

Some people are just ridiculously daaaaaaaaaaaaaaft. It is irritating! Fuuck me.

So Mourinho should take credit for Guus Hindinks achievement at Chelsea because most of the players are his boys?

Honestly, this thought and thinking is just too moronic for me. And the realisation that this guy has a right to vote is giving me belly aches?

I thought when God created Man, he put our brains in the head, why is your own in your intestine? Obviously you don't know how to construct simple sentence and you also lack when he comes to explaining things to people through writing. When you typed your stupid comment, didn't your brain tell you that not everyone watched the match on ait, secondly you didn't even write anything to differentiate between siasia that was sitting in a studio and an amodu that was sitting in the stadium where the matches took place. Oh I forget your brain was too far in your intestine to consult.

There is one thing to say something stupid in person in a conversation.

It is another level of moronicity to have all the time in the world to think about something, research about it, compose it, review it, edit it and you still come up with something that is less valuable than a constipated pig's poo.

I don't understand why people just put up comments on here without reasoning. They judge game based on what they have seen and then make judgements like gods. Just try to watch the match and after that u will know the scores, Like every other Nigerians, I want Eagles to win but they have to improve on their last game with Kenya. There is no good defensive mid fielder in that last game. We need to imrove on our mid field. When the mid field is bad it increases the pressure on the defence,  Grin

Trying to take one man's achievement and allocate it to another man in a shameless, illogical manner.

So Siasia was speaking to the boys through juju in the France game but not the Kenya one? What rubbish line of thinking.

Talking about feeble minds? I think we should be talking about disillusional poo-poo minds.

Ridiculous.

You didn't see Mourinho talking to his boys on the pitch that Hiddink stupidly cleverly tried to hide from us when he won FA Cup?

You didn't see Rijkaard talking to his boys on the pitch that Guardiola stupidly cleverly tried to hide from us when he won Champions League?
