Vice President Atiku Abubakar And The American Connection

Then just last weekend a former United States secretary of defense, Mr. Robert McNamara was a special guest of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in Adamawa and he eulogized the statesmanship of the Vice President of Nigeria at a news conference where he lamented the underdevelopment of Sub-Saharan Africa with emphasis on the backwardness of Nigeria.
"It is not the responsibility of the rest of the world. It is only Nigerians who could do something about it; and you better do something about it," he said.
"The vice president is doing something about it; this university is doing some-thing about it," he added.
