House, Plz i want anyone who has the idea on how to reapirs xbox 360 dvd drive opening problem to help me. I have been to oshodi, and computer village 4 now but no solution. Help plz. i want to go back to my game olz.

If your not afraid to open your console, you'll find that the problem is merely the presence of dust clogging up the system. Clean the dust and maybe add a little vaseline to the moving parts and it'll work 100% perfectly. Worked for ME! Otherwise, if you live in abuja i might be able to help you

Guy thanks so much. i have opened the sys on many occassions. but cant fix it. But i will give it another try again. Thanx alot. I ilive in Lagos. I would have brought it for u if i were to be in Abj.

Try to avoid getting oil around the rubber band connecting the eject motor. This also causes the tray to get stuck as the rubber band simply fails to transfer power to ejecting the tray. You can use alcohol to clean any if you do.
