@ Deb dont really know whether this is the right channel for this my kain of complain oo, if not no vex jare. i dont know the reason/cause why when i post a reply i dont see the post when i check the topic again but when i click on the reply button and on the insert quote page, i see my reply but it doesnt appear on the page of the topic? dont know whether thats clear enough? and at times, it shows my name as the last poster for that topic but when i click on the topic i cant see my reply. dat one na big mystery oo  any clue as to the cause? |

There is an antispam bot featured installed. Its supposed aim is to help track down spammers based on a set of criteria including filters. Why the bot also hits on posts of regular members is something you might have to mail the Admin for an explanation of. Until you do that, just stay safe with all your posts, use regular words, avoid posting links, stay away from vulgar and avoid constant use of abbreviations. This is just a suggestion. |

@ Sissy Dual Core's answer is an excellent one. I was personally a 'victim' of this spam bot yesterday with two of my posts on this thread. Please bear with us while we try to resolve the issue.  |

Well, it sucks! nSo remove it already!!! The anti-spam bot is a very useful tool. Previously moderators spent almost ALL their time removing spammers and getting the admin to ban them, with no time for real moderating duties. It's not perfect, but we all have to live with it for now till we fine tune it further. Again, bear with us while it gets improved. |

Sam Milla has a system set on his forum and that system seems to be removing and avoiding all Spammers from coming to his forum. Infact am bored that I dont have to delete all this Spamming msg's there and so foirth  maybe Seun can learn something from him  That system was set in a way where no members will get their postings deleted. . . Especially like simple basic postings. . . I posted on my cake thread on how to make a Sweet potato cake on nairaland and it got deleted I mean common! What a waste of ma time typing that or sourcing that and it got deleted! |

Sam should talk to Seun about this wonderful system of his - but know this, there is NO system that can avoid all spammers. I've already apologised on behalf of the anti-spam bot - it is being improved as we speak. We won't be perfect overnight, but progress is being made. |

Why cant we just enable the PM function for everyone? I find it hard ooo if lets say I want to gie my email add to someone or maybe I ant to tell like a secret to someone or gossip maybe?  |

This is just an outright attention seeking thread. It is worthy for locking-up and deleting. It is not as if the feedback (if any at all) are taken in. On the contrary, there are already premeditated answers for every concerns raised by respondents on this thread.
Only iice seems to be doing an impressive work on this thread so far. By her having to ignore this thread.

Sam's comment about not finding his post has been addressed - the post has been 'found'. Feedback is a process of hearing what forumites think - regard is as a forum for suggestions. As always, not ALL suggestions will be accepted, but all will be listened to. Trying to 'railroad' things to go in only one particular direction by continuously posting the same thing will not be successful. Nice to hear you think iice is a good mod - I shall pass the feedback on to her. Regarding premediated answers, why wouldn't there be? If I carried out x action with y as my motivation, should I invent a new motivation simply because I am asked to justify why I did x? Why cant we just enable the PM function for everyone? Mine is very easy, just support Man Utd and you'll get under my skin. Bad grammar/spelling does it for me too.  However, be warned, I am asking seun to create a rule to ban people with too many grammar bombs. |

(no comment about that) I didn't see that post on my "show posts" from my profile. I wouldnt have asked if i saw it. I have no issue with anybody here. Some things malfunction here at the moment. plus i also believe that there is a programme here that allows only the admin and/or mods to see some posts. (maybe i am wrong). That could have been the reason. I dont see why i should post that i didnt see the post knowing fully well that the issue will come up. Wait, wasn't a thread like this created before? And as I recall, the thread was unstickied and locked by Seun thus making this thread a duplicate thread which also happens to be the reason why PureLogic was banned. Now all things being equal, shouldn't the creator of this thread be banned too?
First of all, how do you know why purelogic was banned? He didn't say he was banned for duplicating threads, so I don't know where that idea is coming from. A feedback thread is a different beast - the previous one had served it's purpose and there was a need to start on a clean slate with this new one. The other thread is locked, so two feedback threads are not running concurrently |

If a thread was created once, then it got locked, then someone else created it and it got locked again and a third person in an act of defiance creates a third one, then i think the ban is justified.Just stay out of trouble and obey the rules ok? Your Ip was not banned.

So far the Guilty ones in my own opinion include Mukina2( Everyone complains about her high handness and extreme bias ), Spikedcylinder(Always arguing sheepishly to proove a dull point ), Michelin89 (I was suprised when i knew she was a mod because i couldnt believe the amount of very lewd and obscene things she normally writes ). You people better wake up and earn your respect that is falling everyday.  That Michelin89 is really obscene. Wow strange to see you have just 8 posts. Does that mean you are an old member who is too coward to show his face and so hides behind a different username? I may write obscenities, but at least I use my name. |
