2009/2010 Uniport Post Ume Information

The University of Port Harcourt hereby invites candidates which chose University of Port Harcourt as their 1st and/or 2nd choice in the 2009 Universities Matriculation Examination (UME) with a score of 200 and above for Dentistry, Engineering, Management Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing and Social Sciences; 180 and above for others to a screening exercise scheduled as follows:

Monday July 06, 2009   - Faculty of Social Sciences, Education
Tuesday July 07, 2009   -  Sciences
Wednesday July 08, 2009  - Humanities, Pharmacy, Nursing, Agriculture
Thursday July 09, 2009   - Medicine, Anatomy, Physiology, Dentistry
Friday July 10, 2009   - Management Sciences
Saturday July 11, 2008  - Engineering
IMPORTANT DATES
• Registration    - 18th June – 30th June, 2009
o Input Jamb Registration Number and confirm preloaded UME details
o Print Payment Slip
o Proceed to any of the Bank Branches listed on the Registration Procedures and make payments
o Login with your Jamb Reg. Number and the Accesscode on the payment slip after payment and upload your passport.
o Submit form to generate examination details and Print Photo card
• Examination   - 6th July – 11th July, 2009
Logon to www.uniport.edu.ng to read the detailed Registration Procedures for Post UME Screening 2009/2010
To complete the application form and be eligible to write the screening test, take the following steps:
•   Click on Post-UME 2009/2010 Screening
•   Enter your Jamb Registration Number and select either First or Second Choice as applicable
•   Print the Screening Qualification Details and confirm that they are accurate before you proceed
•   Tick the Checkbox by the Declaration if you are okay with the details and click anywhere on the screen for it to be proceed.
•   Once the systems confirms that you have checked the box, a button to Print Payment Slip will appear; click to print.
•   Proceed to any of the approved banks (U & C Microfinance Bank, ECOBANK, Intercontinental Bank, UBA -Choba & Abuja Campuses, Sterling Bank- UPTH, First Bank and Fin Bank) with the payment slip and make your payment.
•   After payment, logon to www.uniport.edu.ng and click on PUME09 Photocard
•   Enter the registration number on the Payment Slip like 98776687DC(1) for first choice candidates or 98776687DC(2) for second choice candidates and the Accesscode
•   Upload a recent passport photograph and proceed to print Photocard with details like exam hall, exam number, seat number etc.
