Nigerians And Illegalities
« on: June 24, 2009, 07:10 AM »

Finally, Nigerians have shown their true color again. Your Freedom banned Nigerians from using their server to tunnel throught internet connections. Reason? Spam emails.

I still wonder when nigerians will wake up to the numerous legitimate opportunities online, instead of pursuing illegalities here and there.

What do you think.

Serves us right. Next time we should use our brains for
turning the little opportunities we have into gold.

The same reason also why Paypal & Clickbank never
gave us access. It's appalling 'cos everywhere you
go advert are being placed for  even to
the extent in our print media.

I just hope & pray that we'd learn from this.

I dont think that is the case. Your Freedom did not ban Nigeria from using their server. They are having problem with some of their servers and its only free users from Nigeria that was unable to use their server.  I believe they will fix the problem. Goto your freedom website and see what is on their site please.

Its only a temporal problem.
If we Nigerians are still up to no good, its a pity.
Your freedom provides internet services to countries that are deprived the right to information on the internet. So i dont see the reason why they will ban Nigeria from their services.
In most cases they even give free packages to some countries. Eg Iran,Bahrain.

***Updates****

It was reported now that it was a bug from one of their program, it was also reported then that country authentication will be intorduced due to spam report, 90% of which is from a particular country.

But as it is now, all is now working well, but with certain server excluded from nigeria.

Like others have mentioned, let us be cautious in using things given to us on platter of gold.

best to all
