My guess is u want to suggest to jarus on how to jihad against non-muslims making anti-islamic posts. you need to understand that there is something called freedom of speech and this is not the stone and antediluvian age u have always assumed. opinions on all subjects are bound to differ, and just like u, protagonist of anti-islamic opinions have a right to express theirs. illiteracy and ignorance breeds intolerance. get educated my friend. |

He used this thread because this was where he felt I can easily get it, and he asked me to delete after reading. Your guess was therefore wrong. I was the one that wanted to confirm something from him, and it's strictly personal between us.

Hence I summed it up and decided to use this thread for calling his attention to that.

And to open it: I PMed him asking him why he suddenly became MUHSEEN, and not having facility to reply, he replied on open forum and asked that his reply be deleted after exchanging contact details. So is that what you wanted to hear? At least you've succeeded in knowing what we wanted to discuss privately. |

due to network prob.s, that post got sent after the last three replies though they had not been sent when I was typing, So I didn't know that he'd accept the peaceful way before sending that.
All the same, whenever you guys read posts such as the initial post that led to all this, pls ignore them, because I dont think there is any way he would have read what he wrote and not know that it was troublesome and annoying.

Please pardon me for posting in the Muslim Only section. . . I'm a Christian.
I wish to draw your attention to the fact that I am begining to get uncomfortable with the outbursts of a certain Nairalander by the alias Abuzola.
I have followed his posts for a while and I have noticed they have increased in aggression over the last few weeks.
He consistently posts off topic deviating from the issues at hand misrepresenting facts and occassionally telling the blantant lie.
I find his comments laced with disdain and gross disrespect for people of different opinions and spiritual beliefs.
It would be in the interest of all to call Abuzola to order and ask that he be less aggressive in his approach. He should also be counselled to brush up his articulation skills as he will be able to pass his message accross in more clearer terms.
I believe that is he does such, there will be less rancour in the religion forum.
Please not that I am not indicting all muslims as I have been able to have reasonable conversations with other muslims such as Olabowale and Mushin who seem to be more level headed.
If I am out of line, please kindly rebuke me publicly with clear reasons, but if I have a valid point, I believe you should carry out this rebuke openly.

I'm not siding Abuzola, but I just want u 2 appreciate d fact dat d same way u feel on Abuzola's outbursts,some oda pple feel about d outbursts of noetic,davidylan & co. FYI, however, we av warned Abuzola several times against uttering inflammatory remarks, but shd emulate Olabs, who is usually on d defensive,rather dan being offensive. We need not impress anybody, but I want inform u dat we had meted ban to Abuzola in recent past. Finally, respect begets respect, your pple also need to be called 2 order.

very few muslims came to nairaland with any intereset in christianity if you go to abuzola's first posts, you will find that it was the antics of daviylan that set on the path he is now. most Muslims do not give two hoots about christains, but we cannot remain silent when christians take it upon themselves to be thread hijacking trolls, whose only source of happiness is derailing muslim threads. I am glad that you acknowledge the fact that he is set on a "path" as you choose to put it. I have seen the posts where he threatened the very actions he is currently carrying out. I stand to be corrected, but I am of the opinion that if he desists from this path, the others will have no cause to resort to the antics you allege they carry out. If they do, then you can mete the necessary actions on them. I do not subscribe to the notion that people have to be frustrated into silence. I believe it is a show of ignorance and will drive a way geniune individuals seeking information about issues that will augur well for their lives. @Jarus When you say your pple, you forget that Christianity is personal and since I am not the Pastor of any of the members on Nairaland, I can only give counsel but cannot compel actions. I expected better from a Moderator, you can quote me on this too. I acknowledge your point that respect begets respect but I have in no way disrespected Abuzola and he has rained insults on me, even to the extent of accusing me of lying without substantiating his opinion. I find this highly disrespectful. |
