I Insist That Affiliate Marketing Is Very Lucrative
« on: October 28, 2006, 08:13 PM »

Hi all,

Although this message is meant for Seun, every "nairalander" can
still benefit from it.

Seun, you mentioned in one of your posts that it's easier selling
richard cards on the streets of Lagos that promoting affiliate
programs.

You see, I'm one of those that drum it into the ears of Nigerian
online weakth seekers that there is nothing like easy money
online. All these schemes being promoted here and there
are just plain garbage.

But if you know about affiliate marketing very well, you'll know
that you can do it if you know how to.

You're highly respected in this forum as the "oga patapata" so
such comments can only discourage those that genuinely want
to learn the ropes.

I make money everyday with affiliate programs so doing it to
me is not an impossibility.

All the best.

Its obvious that you make money from affiliates and thats why you  are against anyone speaking against it but lets face it, it is dignified slavery.

Thousands of poor guys working for 18 cents each, thats real bad. there are better jobs online that nigerians can do instead of being affiliates. They can be freelance proofreaders, programmers, artists, law advisers, web designers, web masters and data entry specialists.

Lets free nigerians from online slavery and let them express themselves online in other forms beside being glorified salesmen.

Hi Seun,

Let me tell you why i want to give out my secrets to
strangers and for free.

I'm going to be honest here,

If i give out info on how to make some money online,
i'll have more people out there who will respect me and
still buy from me in future.

Let me give you an instance.

Not too long ago, i trained 5 Nigerians for free on how to
sell information products online.

When they started the business and started profiting, they
never hesitated to buy my backend products later,  and
some of those back ends cost as much as N25k

Now everybody wins,

They learn from me for free, i sell more of my backend
products, i gain more credibility as they all give me
testimonials everytime i launch new products.

You see?

Then kodewrita,

When we talk about affiliate programs, who is talking about
18 cents. What 18 cents?

We are talking about good margins from $10 to as much as
$100 per sale. Come on.

Just yesterday, i sold 2 copies of the "affiliate project X" and i
netted $87.20 in the process.

If you consider that that ebook is one of the numerous products
i promote online, you'll understand what i'm talking about.

All the best.

Look seun,

the fact that you do not understand something
or have tried and failed at it does not mean it
never works.

By the way, what do you call the Adsense that
is all over your blog? Is it not a sort of affiliate
programme.

If there is no money in affiliate programmes,
why don't you just remove all the adsense?

Stop discouraging other people. This info
might just be what someone needs. I believe
you heard about Adsense somewhere.

Imagine if someone blocked that information,
would you have it on this forum, making you
cash daily?

Food for thought.

Anyone who thinks affiliate programs are glorified slavery sure doesn't know what they are all about. Affiliate programs vary and there are different companies with different compensation plans. Just this week I made a sale of $24.95 and i got a commission of $20 and you call that slavery? It's true that you don't get easy money anywhere. Affiliates programs don't give easy money but with the right company, good training i.e supportive team, 'can-do' attitude and persistence from you. You'll sooner rather than later find out that it's better than working 8+ hours in a day for pea nuts called salary. And that you don't call slavery! But not every must venture into affiliate marketing. Find something that works for you and stick to it but pease don't discourage anyone who could do well in affiliate marketing. Look at people like Ewen Chia. What kind of money doesn't he make as an affiliate marketer? I could just keep on writing here, but just got to stop. No one can discourage me about affiliate marketing. Akin Alabi, I've haerd about you and I'll sure contact you because I know I'll learn alot from you. I saw your picture with Ewen Chia. You 'don go far.'

Affiliate marketing is no slavery. You'd only be a slave in this context if you hop into a business you cannot promote effectively.
I have been making money online for years now and earn from affiliate marketing on a regular basis, without too much effort. Choosing to focus on affiliate marketing as a means of making money online or preferring to offer 'real' products for sale is a matter of personal preference. Either way, you can make money if you know what you are about and work hard/smart.

Hmm who says affiliate marketing is slavery? Well so long theres a Google Search Bar and Adsense on Nairaland of all sites, then no one dares says Affiliate Marketing is Trash. You might as well call your self Google Affiliate if you display Adsense on your Sites and you are dislaying it too to complete Strangers."Seun Note".
Hey this is one way Nigerians can be 'BUSY' and have a JOB online instead of YAHOO YAHOO. Dont you think so? Most Affiliate Programs are free to start, you spend no dime but It requires you be smart and grab knowledge quickly.

Well, just wonna add to this. Making money online is for real. I have been an online network marketer for years now .Infact i have proof of screenshots of how i made over $100,000 within 4 months promoting just one company program both online and offline. As a matter of fact within 6 months i had netted over $400,000 from 3 different online network marketing companies. The only truth here is that this things don't come so easily. A lot of trainings , experience and determination is required. for more on my story of how i started and saw my self as obviously one of the most Successful online network marketer in the country with the largest team around the world, check out my blog at www. .com/blog. i have a post i sent here just to let nigerians and friends around the world know that a lot  of personal trainings, and continuos learning is expected of anybody wanting Financial Success.
Seun banning affliate programs, google adsense, mlm, forex is sure not the right thing to do.
See, about 3 years ago,i was earning over $3,000 monthly in combined affliate program, I also had lots of check from Google adsense. the only thing i can say is that those areas of marketing is fully saturated right now and so, a lot of us smart ones have moved on to bigger projects thats what happens on the internet.
I'm of the opinion that you should ask for anybody promoting any of such programs that you banned to first of all provide to the forum ample evidence of his success story financially, perhaps, get them to post the screen shots of their income online or scann  and send you their checks as proof.
See i'm also of the opinion that if for instance every youth corper in the country is taught how to make money legitimately online, while he is still at service, he would finish his service working for him self and making at least a thousand dollars monthly ($1,000)
My first online commission was about $75 within 2 weeks of work in 2003. Now i have grown to making over $100,000 within 1-3 months sometimes more.Besides, i have built a large team of network marketers around the world . At the moment i have over 40,000 people around the world who works with me as a team. And all i get now is invitation to different countrys both Europe, Far East, Americas and entire African country for business presentations. Now i go  round the world educating people on how to make legitimate income online. This is for real.
Just recently one of the biggest European group company had just made me a stake holder in ther business around the world. giving me a percentage from business or transactions carried out any where in the world.
The point i'm putting up here is that it all started with me taking time to learn internet businesses. I started with Affiliate marketing with zero investment, i learnt how the game is played for years, then i grew and moved on to network marketing.
Kindly check out my blog i had specifically for this. http://www..com/blog. SMARTALOZIE DOT COM SLASH BLOGSo, SEUN please  do not discourage up coming guys . I can tell you how many yahoo yahoo boys have walked up to me to ask me to teach them how to make legitimate income that is consistent that they can be very proud of . This is definitely one way they can get to drop the yahoo yahoo stuffs.
Just like somebody rightly commented on this your forum. You have always had Google adsense all over this forum. even google search bar. Basically with the kind of traffic that you have here, you sure made lots of money from this . The only thing i will repeat is because of googles new rules, you just might not make so much money anymore from google. BUt still its worth an experience for beginner.
Take care and please do not bann my i.d ooo.
If you do i will shout ooooooo.
Take care love you, and keep doing the good job.

Hi Everyone,

The truth is that affiliate marketing is a glorified term for multilevel or network marketing.

I happen to be a force to be reckoned with in MLM/NETWORK MARKETING/AFFILIATE MARKETING in Nigeria and i will insist that affiliate marketing remains the best way of generating extra income that may literally earn you unexpected huge sum of money overtime.

Let me ask seun a question: How on earth do you think you have several people from around the globe on this forum? Simple amswer: Word of mouth recommendation or marketing to be exact.

Now immagine there is an incentive for anyone who recommends this forum to someone else, this simply means that we get a reward for telling someone about this forum as soon s the person registers.  This is Simply what  networking or affiliate marketing is all about.

For instance, i have a product i bring in from outside the country which is an automatic air freshner and i give cash incentives to people who use and recommend this product to people and i tagg the program:

Earn thousands of dollars just by recommending Airwick to friends and family members.

So let us say you are able to recommend the product to10 people who buy the product and this continues 3levels down:

You refer 10 people and you earn                             10 x $2 or N200 ------------Earn $20 (N2, 000)
These 10 each refers another 10 and you earn        10 x 10 x $3 or N300-------Earn $300(N30, 000)
These 100 refers 10 affiliates each and you earn    100 x 10 x $5 or N5, 000---Earn $5000 (N500, 000)

This means you can earn $5, 320 or over half a million naira as you also enjoy long lasting fragrance in your home.

Now Seun immagine the incentives are not given to people, will they still not buy the product? ofcourse they will and will they not recommend the product to people? ofcourse they will.At least people will ask questions about the product and they will surely answer but if anyone buys the product through them, they get nothing.

So affiliate marketing is simply a system that gives room for a win win situation between the buyer and the seller.

Thanks

Toks

This is a special type of airfreshner  that use batteries and do not need electricity. Has on and off switch. You can set the time as it automatic sprays out lovely fragrances using  three time settings—9, 18, 36 minutes—to neutralize odours and lasts for up to 60 days (on a 36 minute setting).  Refills are available in a range of fragrances: Fresh Waters, Harvest Spice, Lavender, Papaya & Mango, Sparkling Citrus, Spring Blossoms, and Vanilla Passion. Unlike other automatic air fresheners, these refills are readily available.
