Help O! I downloaded Whimsical's program for the upgrade and followed EHL's step by step guide and Ekonibaje's.
The thing is that I now have 17 channels instead of 24, Discovery and Setanta inclusive.
7 Channels are missing including Sony entertainment, Zee, Dove, Biscon, Amuludun, cant remember the last two. Somebogy please help!!!

Retrospectively, most people that witnessed d beginning of 2008 were not alive to see it's glorious end. But it pleases d Lord to keep & make u part of his glory in 2009 inspite of your short comings. This is an indication & assurance dat your dreams & heart desires 4 2009 shall be granted. dats cos all those channels are on 12130 ghz not 11900.scan your decoder on dt freq and voila!

After the installation did your decoder scan automatically? if yes, don't worry just turn off the decoder n turn it on again. it will scan the remaining channels.

@Whimsical, no it didn't scan automatically, could that be an indication of a mix up in the installation? Thanks a bunch.

Those 1 of those software on my site is responsible for auto scan during boot up while the other is for EPG. I guess U will have to install both.( I installed both myself)

Thanks guys, I've sorted myself out.
Here's the error, the program was installed correctly but one has to reconnect the dish to the decoder before pressing the OK button when you are prompted to select the language required.
This enables the autoscan.

Hi Maskuraid.
Happy new year. Howz madam?.
Can't really remember the TCM freq. I wiil check when i get home and post here if that won't be too late.
However you can scan Eutelsat by selecting "FREE CHANNELS" option on your decoder. That will help reduce the time in scanning. TCM will definetely come up under 2mins.

This might not be the correct link to give me the information I need but I do see a lot of people with good satellite experience contributing to this link.
Is there an association of satellite installers in Nigeria? I need to discuss with somebody about a project that we are about to embark on that wil be throughout Nigeria and we will need installers from all over the country.
