Resident Evil 5 (XBOX 360) - the controls and AI were appalling. The control system felt like you were manoeuvring a tank or Molue in a confined space, not to mention your so called partner getting in the way and you having to revive her everytime she got killed. I bought it the day it came out and returned it the same day.
NINJA GAIDEN(XBOX) - I will definitely agree this has got to be one of the toughest games out there, the bosses had long health bars whilst yours in comparison are small. I really enjoyed it though and found it quite challenging.

Tomb Raider 2 on PS1 and Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness on PS2 (In fact, all the Tomb Raiders are hard!)

syphon filter 2 ps1 - you die and you have to go back to the start of tthe level annoying
original ninja gaiden - xbox360 - im still playing this it is sooooooooooo hard and the game has no easy mode
