Are Landladies So Wicked?

I dont know if its a general trend, but the three houses we have stayed in so far were run by the landlady (who prolly ate up their husbands)
And boy, Were they mean! 

In Nigeria, of course

My mum is probably one of the softest landladys ever.

One tennant is even owing her for well over a year even though the rent hasnt been increased since he moved in 8 years ago. Yet he is having babies nearly every year, In this Lagos!

landlady wey don chop her husband (a la the poster) nor go get any mercy o. You the kind of war she go dey fight with the husband people go don toughen her up for all her callousness. Talking seriously, those that fall into the category described by the poster are usually mean.

may God forgive me sha, since I have not really experienced anything like that and I'm talking like this.

Diffferent people have different reasons/factors that make them behave the way they do.

Being wicked has got nothing to do with

1. Gender
2. Tribe
3. Occupation
4. Race

You can add more to the list if you like.

wat do u undastand by been wicked? If u be landlord/lady if a tenant is owing u 4 a yr or 2, tell me say u go clap 4 am & shake him. Pls askn 4 his or her house rent is nt been wicked unless there are oda factors u need 2 let us no.

 landladies are so wicked, simply because they are women that does not embrace second thougth before getting things done.

and the prove? what study did you conduct to have arrived at this dumb conclusion?

Not all of them are like that.

i can not really say ye or ney but i have had 3 landladies experience, 1st was my aunt, we have a very huge family house in PH and she looks after it, we all call her Mommy because she was just the sweetest thing ever after honey, she was way too kind and caring that i was being to think that all the tenants were our relatives but what did i know then, i was like 7 or 8 yrs old. i also had another experience with 2 other landladies, one during my NYSC and the other right after my NYSC and they were the very devils. u can't get any worse than these ladies even if u pray and fast for it; they were mean, wicked and down right evil. the one during the NYSC was in ogun, she had her husband grave in the building and spent alot of time at the grave raining down curses on poor corpers and then government, this usually happens when the local government is late in paying our rent to her, we did our best to avoid her during those times. she also didn't like most of us city kids bcuz we dont give in to some of her rituals and we don't obey her warnings or we take down any charm placed on our doors in the name of protection, this really gets them pissed off at corpers. the other experience was right after i got out of NYSC and got a job in lagos, where i went to live was just one big trouble. the landlady was a woman who was put in charge of her father's property and she was something else. she was even mean to her nephews that lived there, so i guess we were no big suprises. all in all, it comes down to the general mentality of the person in question.

90% of landladies are wicked. 10% are understanding.
