bashali, you can't say that they can build a port and cargo the goods in. what if all your neighbours refuse you using their airspace, what happens. biafra can only survive if they join hands with either the niger delta, yorubas or hausa.

If for nothing else, let there be some sort of opposition and defiance to the so called Nigerian govt.We need people who truely believe we have had enough of all this! Our issue will always remain the many cowards and conformists amongst us who will never call a spade a spade. If we can't work as a nation then it's best we all go seperate ways, but for those who believe any group would suffer without them, will be suprised.

Neither can Akwa Ibom and Cross river, but obviously people in the east are not well known so how will their intimate relationships be known to the rest of Nigeria, anyway keep believing all of the Igbo people's neighbours hate them and it will work to their advantage. . . . . . . .

Nigeria belongs to all of us. We must work together to make the country to be habitable and welcoming. We need each other for the Nigeria project to work.

Let us stop calling each other names. Let us help to make the country better for everyone without tribalism. Tribalism has given birth to corruption and all type of bad things in Nigeria.

My people, we have no ther country we can call our own. Even though some of us may have nationality of other countries, we are still part and parcel of Nigeria.

Nigeria, Our father land, Our motherland.

My people, let us start by showing love to each other

Javalove you speak well. like our fore father in igboland would say when a chick have miss the road, it takes his mother to bring him back.   I also do not share thier idea. but looking at someone of the ideas on this issue. while dont we igbo extend it to benue, taraba and adamawa state. i do not know how to draw maps like you people. if we have three country until the oyi hausa bashali have said. while from the oyi hausa map, we put biafra into republic of benue. It is my suggestion. this is the only way i can see it work. if you do that. you would have enough vote in the senate. look. what i am saying. is the yoruba people want to join benin republic and we want to leave. we let the yoruba people join benin and we with the benue people form a country. una for them not to be afraid of domination by we igbo. instead of calling it biafra.  like this oyi hausa bashali have said we call it republic of benue. omara what i am saying. what you have to understand is that the afam of a country does not matter. what if we change the afam? omara what i am saying.

Nice one.

It does not matter what the new confederacy is called as long as nigeria is no more and ndiigbo have no type of political union with the s/w or north. Yorubas and hausa/fulani can't be trusted. PERIOD

this topic opened this afternoon and see what number we are @.when ever the case of igbos and biafra comes up,the weather amongst many nigerians changes fron bright to dark.some foolish governors in the north decided to impose sharia on others, igbos were killed in their thousands, shops and live times of sufferings were wasted.obasamma the president did nothing.kano state have formed their own police and we are haapy to have the 1st state police in nigeria.MASSOB launched biafra currency and passport,it becomes trason.Uwazuruike should be hanged.biafra becomes a dead pipe dream.some idiot made an unhealthy remark about another leader coming back to live well.a refrence to the IKEMBA NNEWI,sorry bt in the east,we dont need unsolicitade opinion like urs.he is and will remain monumental in igbo land.we remain till date the only people with balls enough to call the fed.rubbish govt bluff and sacrificed our lives for the future of our kids.the rest of the nation has had their tails between their balls and accepting whatever is said and answering YES SIR,OUI PATRON.If these be pipe dreams,  allow us to dream.remember that it ever hurts to dream.if the NIGER DELTA  pple have been as commited in their cause as the igbos, significant inroads would have been made today.instead, many of them are satisfied with the handout that the oil companies gives to them and turning to traitors against the "REAL STRUGGLERS".let the hausas cast off their fears and allow a breathing space cos we are suffocating inside this useless and worthless entity u call nigeria.IGBO KWENU,NDI IGBO KWEZUENU.

I don’t brag about my tribe, but I notice your stupid ego about Bini Kingdom supremacy. I want advise you to get a fact other than this complete barloney!

You better stop fooling yourself, Edo or Bini is by no where being or ever and will never be on the same level with Yoruba. You always brag about Bini Kingdom conquered all the south west before, garbage! Please, go back to your history. It’s a complete Hoax. I don’t see how 3 millions would have conquered 48 millions People (I included Kogi and Kwara). It even more than that if you included part of benue and Niger state. And Yorubas are over 100 millions worldwide.

Reason I include Benue, majority of benue shares the same culture with yoruba and they often testify.

Of recent in Bida, Niger state. A man surmoned for having 86 wives. Then, I was like“ what‘s wrong with this Hausa man,“I didn’t even know he’s a Yoruba. When they asked to divorce 82 of his wivies or leave the twon. He said it clearly with typical Yoruba dialect that nobody on the face of earth will chase him away from his town.

1)   They have three dominant tribes in Nigeria. I never heard bini tribe put into them. Why bragging about fairytales.

2)   If Bini people are superior, I don’t see reason, they want to live in yoruba town, bear our names. I never seen any yoruba bearing Bini name; but a lot of binis bear Yoruba names.“A ji se bi Oyo la nri , Oyo ose bi baba eni kan ri.“ Real talk!

3)    Think about it, The Ife arts and culture currently on tour in Spain. Out of 120 pieces of cast, terra cotta and bronze antifacts, they only have 5 pieces from Bini. They asked the organizer from Spain, why only 5 from Bini. She says out of all art in Africa, the ife arts have always stood out.

4)   During the reign of Oyo Empire, we see all the traces down to Benin republic, togo, part of Ghana and beyond south werstern Nigeria.

In America, the largest of shrines of any tribes other than whites. E.g. New York: Temple of Yehwe YORUBA/ORISA’IFA
California: Ijo Orunmila, Ile Orunmila, and Awo Study Center
Florida: Ile Orunmila Temple, Ife Ile, Church of Lukumi Illinois: Ile Ifa Jalumi, Ile Osikan, Egbe Imole Agbon Iwosan
New York: Ile Ase, Lukumi Church
South Carolina: Oyotunji Village
Tennessee Mimo Anago Ile Oshun
Charleston: Elequa
Texas: Ile Olokun
Virginia Ile Oyigigi Ojuba Orisa AKAN
Georgia: Akan Spiritual United Order
Maryland: Nyame Dua: Shrine House for Spiritual Healing
New York: Obaatanpa N’Abosum Fie
Pennsylvania: Adade Kofi Bosomfie Sankofa, Asona Aberade Shrine, Inc. Washington D.C. Onipa Abusia, Asomdwee Fie,
Shrine of the Abosom and Nsamanfo KEMETIC
Washington DC Region,
Florida: Ausar Auset Society Orlando Study Group
Maryland: Baltimore Branch of the
Ausar Auset Society International Pennsylvania: Ausar Auset Society in Philadelphia
Washington D.C. Ausar Auset Society
Washington, DC .“

5)   The largest also in South America, from Cuba, Brazil, Haiti, Mexico, Trinidad & Tobbago e.t.c

For those Yoruba dreaming of a Republic of Benin merger, una nor dey read name? Republic of Benin is just a small part of the Benin Empire. In fact, the current President of Benin Republic is a Bini man.
____________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________ __________________________________
My advise!

“Stop fooling yourself one more time, Benin president never from Bini ooooo. Here is what he said when he came to Ife, Osun, Nigeria.“

"Benin President shocks Yoruba leaders
Sun. Lagos, Nigeria. 21,12,08
President of Benin Republic, Dr Thomas Boni Yayi, on Saturday shocked prominent Yoruba Obas and leaders when he announced in impeccable Yoruba language at Ile-Ife that he was happy to be back home."

Yayi, who was in Ile-Ife to receive an honorary doctorate degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University and a chieftaincy title from the Ooni of Ife, said he was happy to be where his story started.

"Kabiyesi, my being here today is home-coming. It is the water that weaned me that I have come to see. It is the breast that I sucked that I have come to behold. Just continue to pray for me, your son who is the President of Benin Republic," he told the Ooni after he was conferred with the chieftaincy title of Sooko Adimula Obaninuola of Ife.
Yayi, who is from the Yoruba-speaking part of Benin Republic, told his audience which included Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Afenifere leaders - Chiefs Reuben Fasoranti and Ayo Adebanjo – and the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji AbdulMumini Kabir Usman, that his country and Nigeria were inseparable brothers.

"Nigeria and Benin share the same culture, people and history. Indeed, Benin is Nigeria's 37th state while Nigeria is Benin's 7th department," he said.
He added that he was happy that the regional integration started by former President Olusegun Obasanjo was being continued by the Umaru Yar’Adua administration.
He was accompanied by over ten Yoruba Obas from Benin Republic.

Then, tell me who is right bewteen you and I?
