How Do I Pitch For New Businesses For An Advertsing/Public Relations Company?

hi, this is my first time ever posting something on this network. buh i need help guys, i work for an advertising and public relations firm. i need to win some businesses for the company (marketing communication businesses/ad/pr) and according to my research it is a man-know-man thingy. so posting this if anyone could hook me up with some connection or better still, give me hint on how to get these businesses. (apart from submitting company brochures to other companies, aggressive marketing, doesnt work). thanks. hope 'nairaland' works for me!
