NET worth or expenditure to assemble the side?

Messi, Puyol, Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Pique, Krkic are all home grown, so if you want to compare Madrid's spending to Barca's, there is still no comparison.

David villa will do well in barca,i have alot of respect for him.he can play from the left plank, meaning igwe would have enough time to rest and come in second half to cause damage.his arrival would also make eto to sit up and scores goals not squandering many chances and converts few.
bojan and caceres are still young, they can be with valencia till next two seasons.

ogazi u funny ooo, if Bojan hear that thing from ya mouth, he go throw u bottle.
That boy loves Barca so tey, him talk sey him nor mind dey bench.

Villa will definitely be a fire power. If FAB comes too, he and Ini can be switching from time to time.

Any transfer news yet on our side?

$50m plus cacares and Bojan on loan for a year,  thats too much for a 27 years old villa

I concur,  I think Hleb, Gudjohnsen or Pedro should join cacares than Bojan as we still need him to grow under our style of play.

I wish we can get a player who can use his head very well as our 9, we have players who can supply such balls for that forward. I still don't want Eto to leave, he's a good 9.

Valdez is trying to be stubborn, if he doesn't want to renew his country, let them get a better keep in his place, i read barca is going for frey, is he not too old? what about asenjo?

If that is true it will be a masterstroke from Laporta. Robinho coming to Barca will stir up as much media controversy as Ronaldo's move to Madrid. An ex-madrid star playing for Barca in newsworthy like a mutha fucka, for a fraction of the price Madrid paid for their media frenzy. . All we probably will have to pay are his wages. Can't complain.

There is no hurry in life and its not how far but how well.
barca will take their time as we have always did.
we dont just go about signing  every dicky that wanna play for barca.
we still have eight weeks to relax our nerves and make some minor reinforcement in the squad.
some players would have to go;gudjhonson should not wait for barca to tell him to go,hleb too can go elsewhere.
we need a LB,DMF,Attacker and a winger,if valdez is still dreaming pep should wake him with a dirty slap.
no big club will ever sign him except for free, i dont know why i cant force myself to like him one bit,he should quietly leave if he want to go.
forza barca, we go do dem strong tin next season

lol, well since it is obvious that Villa has his heart for madrid, I think we can focus on forlan cos we nid anoda strika to complement Eto putting into consideration that he might be away for Nations Cup duties unless Pep is willing to play Bojan during this period

U guys should stop i beg.our financial director says barca only had 35m euro to sign new players this season, offcourse that wont even land any world class player like david villa.i dont know if this is a bargaining strategy by the club, obviously that peanuts is rather embarrassing as far as im concern, common we are barca for goodness sake, lol.officially they have renewed valdez contract till 2014,a bad news many would agree with me,so we cant afford to keep abidal in the first eleven,we need a LB ASAP.i think yaya is on the verge of signing a new contract and i hope ETO stays,i like my african broda but he has to calm down for barca,we are like a charity home the players should reason with the club and dont compare their pay with other stars in highly profit oriented football clubs.whatever happens, we are winning treble next season.forza barca

Yaya Toure On The Verge Of New Barcelona Deal - Agent

Quote
Yaya Toure's agent has revealed that he thinks his client is on the verge of signing a new deal with Barcelona.

The midfielder has been rumoured to be leaving the Camp Nou this summer, with clubs in Italy and England reported to be interested.

However, it now looks as though he is going to sign an extension with Barcelona and stay, as Dimitri Seluk explained to Onda FM.

"Barcelona are optimistic about resolving the issue and I believe that we are on the verge of signing an agreement. However, it is clear that the time limit is next week, he signs or he doesn't sign," he said.

It will be welcoming news for Barcelona, who had feared that they could lose the Ivory Coast international, with Arsenal as a possible suitor.

Seluk revealed that there has been interest, but that Toure himself wants to stay at the Camp Nou with Barcelona.

"Although there are many clubs interested, we are not interested in them. In fact, he can only play for eight teams, three of them in Italy, three in England and two in Spain," he mused.
