Hello people.
There are some vacancies in the Infrastructure company where I work and I felt I should post some of them on here. They will be required to work at a newly commission Quarry in some parts of Nigeria. There are a number of Quarries all over and I am not sure who will be posted where.Pay is quite good too. 
1. Mining Engineer - for Quarry development & Production activities. If his/her performance is found satisfactory & capable to handle overall operation activities he will be assigned the responsibilities of Quarry Manager for all statutory / legal obligations under the Nigerian Minerals and Mining Act 2007 and other related laws.
~~~He/she should be a qualified Mining Engineer having minimum of 5 years experience in Open Cast Mining / Quarry operation using heavy earth moving equipments and Large dia long hole blasting.
Initially he/she will be appointed on contract for 3 months and if his/her performance found satisfactory, he/she will be absorbed as regular employee of xxxxx(Name of Coy).
Candidates with lower qualification may also be considered if they have an aptitude to learn & shoulder higher job responsibilities.~~~~
2. Driller cum Blaster – For Drilling & Blasting operations.
Initially he/she will be appointed on contract for 3 months, if his/her performance found satisfactory he/she will be absorbed as regular employee of xxxxx (Name of Coy)
~~~Must possess statutory Blaster’s certificate and should have experience of large dia long hole blasting (dia. 4 ½”) in Open Cast Mining & Quarries and related safety provisions during blasting. He/she should have experience of operating Jack Hammer, Wagon drills and other similar drilling Mining machineries for drilling holes and for blasting purposes. He/she should also have fair knowledge of drill machine maintenance.
3. Secretary (Female) – Initially she will be appointed on contract for 3 months, if her performance found satisfactory she will be absorbed as regular employee of xxxx (Name of Coy).
~~~Minimum graduate, have good command of English language (speaking & writing), should have at least 1/2 yrs knowledge of office work (fresh graduates will be considered). Should have aptitude to adapt to new technical work environment. It will be an advantage to have driving license & experience, but not mandatory.~~~
