For those having problems signing their applications with certificates, hope these screen shots will help. Application signing programs abound the internet. which ever type you find works the same way. shown here is SignSis v0.7

@shiloboy,
i downloaded the zip folder to my computer and xtracted it.the key file(1kb) came out as a document,kind of,nd wen i tried opening,the progs available for openin it were progs like adobe,ms word'note pad,etc and these prog cudnt open it.
The cert opened wel,i gues because d cert wizard told me import sucesful at d end,but i cant seem to find where it was stored.i have never seen the locations it brought out as option for storage.

I tot the key was suposed to be a file like the cert and not lyk a doc,and is stored as a separate entity. or does the cert file i was able2 export contain the key too?
How can i locate,for example,where the cert. Is stored when i want to use it .
So sorry to boda you this much.

@dandollar: no, you are not a bother. i agreed to help out ok. now, you dont have to try opening either of the files. you need to download the program SignSis for PC and use it to sign your symbian application files so you can install them on your phone. refer to my last post. the screenshot will guide you on how to go about the signing. also check thru my previous posts.i believe i have posted detailed guides on what to expect. you cant miss it. let me know your progress ok. nyt

@dandollar: did you hard reset your phone first? Hope you did. Remember to back up your files before reseting. If it stops at installing rom patcher,restart the phone and try again. For the xplore, set your application manager to accept all installations. Alternatively,get ybrowser from www.drjukka.com. Its what i'm using

Re: Phone Certificate

@victor and fiscabally: have you both tried using drakarious to h.ack your phones before? I'm just checkin a compatibility list now and both phones are on it (6220 classic and E70) respectively. This h.ack method is more easy than the one you need those certificates for. Of course there are several methods of h.soiling a phone. All you will need for this one is to change your phone date and install it. Look for the file "drakarious" from maybe sharemobile,download it. I'm not on my computer now so i can't send you the guide. Will do that to your emails soon. Please i'm sorry for the delay ok. You will hear from me today
