Core It Skills Needed By A Computer Teacher

I think this question is best answered by the school(s) that are looking for such a teacher.  My point: No need reading 100 books if the schools where you will be applying on average may only need 5. 

Personally, I would say that IT is very broad and so I think the first step is for you to find your niche and read whatever the latest trend(s) is/are for that particular field.
