Latest team news - Baptista is out with a knee injury, meaning we only have 1 striker available for sunday  I hope Aliadiere makes the best of this opportunity and scores! Hleb is fit, but Eboue and Clichy are still out, hope to see a Gallas - Kolo combination at center back tomorrow, we beat these guys earlier here with the 'youth side' so I hope we can do it again, no slipping up allowed in the race for 3rd place! |

Aladiere & Baptista, birds of the same feather, how can we want to sign him (Baptista) anyway, to me he is an apology my bad, he has the strength but lacks the final touch, as for Aladiere, he looks agile and full of running but also lacks the finishing, because that's the most important aspect in football.
Sorry to say this, but they are the worst pair of strikers up front for Arsenal. It would be prefarable using the lanky man ADE who doesn't strike always but is more composed upfront. remember against Manutd. So please we should try and get this people out for good. most especially Baptista because that Beast won't adapt to English soccer. NEVER!!!

Ali has been at arsenal longer than anyone in the team now, even freddie if he hasnt made it now he will never make it, dump him!! Baptista? even if he was 1millon pounds I wouldnt buy him, its a luxury we can't afford - get rid of him and let Henry RVP, Ade and Bendtner lead the line next season, with another quality addition if possible. I give them both till the end of the season to prove me wrong. |

i think arse need a rugged striker who only nos how 2 finish . not necessary a great ball dribla but some who can score n has killer goal instinct. because its obvious that injuries 2 both van persie n igwe has really affected their gols hurl. strikers like van nisteroy, who is d deadliest striker in d 18yrd box, didier drogba , jonhson (everton) r examples of such.
also in as much as youths shld be encouraged , it doesnt augur well 4 d older players who may get fustrated at d inexperience of d lads.i just read gallas complainin he's tired of playin attractive fotball n not winnin. u can't blame him considerin were he came from n d winnin mentality dere. n 4 good sake let arsen try n buy xperienced players because weda we like it or not fotball is not a kids game but 4 men n that is was simply y chelsea won d carlin cup.
