Not just that, windows ME is one of or the most unstable windows OS ever created. Its a real disaster. The sooner you change your windows the better. ME has a record of crashing and failing that has never been seen before. I don't know anyone who has used windows ME for up to 6months without it crashing.

I know a few people but that's not the point  , It's one of the few times microsoft has made a prerelease version that was better than the real thing  On similar hardware I would windows 2000, it should be relatively easy to come by a cheap copy (esp in Nigeria ) |

98 SE is actually much more stable than ME. Yes, it sucks that much. Get XP SP 2  |

you can't upgrade windows ME, its such a pain in the backside, just reformat your HD and install XP if your system supports it
