I wana upgrade to a nu ride, divided b/w kia RIO/CERRATO and toyota yaris, toyota yaris is well above the price of the rio even though the rio is 1.4 l wile the yaris is 1.3l but is it worth the extra amount? Please users and proffesionals in the house whats your take considering specs and durability of both cars. Would it also be wiser to get a 2007 or 2008 model since the upgrades on the 09 model mite not be significant and also cheaper?

if the models being compared are the 2007-2009 models, then go for the Kia cerato.
Infact, go for the cerato.

What are the specs of a toyota yaris? , still wonder why the yaris is that expensive, is there a particular reason?
And really where does a NISSAN in the same range fit in? No one seems to remember that brand nowadays, Why?

Man, Go for the 2009 Cerato. It is a BOMB. it goes for 2.1m for the Manual transmission, wheel cover etc
Trust me. Buy it then trade the wheel for new alloy wheels which won't cost you more than 40/50K. The fuel consumption is excellent and also spacious.

The cerato you are seeing is the only one left in stock, it is a manual. You can not even see the 09 cerato in the market, the stock has finished. The 09 cerato automatic was sold for between N2,700,000 and N2,520,000 when it was available.The manual for N2,150,000.

The Toyota will last longer for you - generally has a more rugged fixture and more reliability.
Sincerely speaking - FOR MYSELF - Instead of blowing 3M on any of those two toys, I'll spend the 3M on a low mileage 2008/2009 Camry.

toyota is well over priced!!!!!!, the yaris is more or less an empty car on alloy rims, the cerato has way more features than the yaris, as for durablity, are your opinions based on fact or just hearsay?, my dear, the 2009 cerato beats the yaris hands down, u need to see the car to know what we're talking about, cheers!!!
