it was well known around the world that the swine flu was going to hit back again and harder. the last time there was an outbreak of swine flu, it was similar. first a small outbreak that seems to go away only to come back harder and stronger.

I think the writer of this piece in misinformed about the capacity and facilities that Nigerian government has put in place to checkmate the Swine flu through the Ministry of Health headed by a technocrat this time around. It may interest you to know that the WHO rated Nigeria as one of the countries with adequate facility to tackle the scourge. The Laboratory facility at the Asokoro General Hospital was adjudged recently by WHO as meeting the standard and we have qualified personnel to handle the disease in the case eventuality. So, there is no need to entertain any fear, since we thank God we don't have any reported cases yet. Let us all ensure that we live a clean and healthy life that will prevent contamination with Swine flu. Nigeria will survive

So far no Swine flu has been reported in Nigeria, but the Federal Government is fully prepared to contain any outbreak of Swine Flu in the country. Then the WHO has been proactive response to the outbreak.
